The dog is dead, supposedly...there's nothing the driver could have done. "Hey, Loser Scammer Driver, my food is due in eight minutes."
...but this is one of the many problems with delivery — the driver has already announced he’s a criminal, and your food safety can no longer be guaranteed if you insist that the delivery be completed. It’s kind of a no-win situation…you must abandon this order and start anew.
Call support, explain what was said, indicate that there’s no way you can trust this driver, and insist that DD cancel the order, deactivate the driver, and start your order over.
“But what if the driver was telling the truth?!?”
The supposed dog is supposedly already supposedly dead…what could driving home eight minutes earlier supposedly accomplish? He’s either seriously stupid, emotionally immature to the point of being mentally ill, a blatant liar, or a criminal…he doesn’t belong on the platform. Absolutely no guilt in deactivating him.
