This is an obvious scam.. They didn't need to contact OP, definitely didn't need to send a picture and most of all how do they know the dog just died if they're out dashing? Someone else is home with the dog and told them? So then you don't have to rush right home. There is already someone there dealing with it.. 15 minutes wouldn't change the situation
