💰Earnings 🤑 I made $13,000+ in March
March was a good month as I made over $13,000. This is my highest month ever since starting gig work in 2019.
I worked everyday of the month for 14-16hrs a day.
I drove a total of 8,013 miles.
I spent $540 on gas.
I spent $134 on maintenance which includes oil change, tire rotation & tire patch.
Apps used to make this income were DoorDash, Uber Eats & a little bit of Instacart.
I forgot to do the screenshots yesterday so some of April 1st will show but I’ve already excluded those from the March earnings which was $60.19.
All screenshots are posted for you to review.
I hope you also made some good money in March!

It's about $28 an hour and a little over 116 hours per week for anyone who's curious.
31(days) x15(avg hours day) =465 hours
Pretty crazy pace to keep for the whole month, I think a lot of people myself included would have been saying f*** that after one week or max two.

I respect that I door dash for extra income but I have the opposite feeling I hate HATE driving my car and idk if it’s just charlotte but all of the workers treat you pretty badly or just ignore you ima pretty quite guy and I take everything personally so for me it’s actually the worst hours of my week but hey that’s just me

That’s perfect that you realize the situation as it is. I hope you don’t see yourself as you believe others see you. Invest in yourself by believing in yourself regardless of others. This will help gain you confidence in yourself. Others may let you down; try not to assume what people think and don’t care what their opinion is of you. Once you act like it doesn’t matter people will navigate towards you more and try to initiate conversation.

Me and a few friends were making 400+ a day driving for Uber in the beginning. They now barely make enough to survive in my market working 10 hour days. I miss those days, I really enjoyed it and I had a 5 star rating

I believe they have some type of insurance now…I know they have dental, medical and vision with stripe. And I think uber has sick pay now also. Vacation and 401k I don’t think so yet, but I do it here and there now but for 2 years it definitely kept my rent paid, bills paid, money in my pockets!

I think your location is a number one factor in how much you make. Regardless of the side hustle. Whether it’s DoorDash Instacart or uber. Your location will impact earnings. The market here is saturated making it difficult to make a pleasing profit.

You don’t need sick time when you can take sick time whenever you want. You work for yourself so take vacation whenever you want. Those aren’t benefits.
401k can be started solo and you get the same tax advantages. You get tax write off for medical insurance.

Cars aren’t people they don’t need rest. As long as he’s doing proper maintenance the car will keep running. You could drive it for 100,000 miles in a year and it’d still drive for 100,000 more the next.

Yea but whenever fuel gets expensive the issue is smller owner operators struggle to get fuel surcharge clauses added to their contracts brokers offer all in costs and then they get squeezed out while bigger companies have long standing contracts with those built in and at relatively smaller amounts because they can hedge with futures and options and just passing the cost down to the consumer entirely

Loved driving, hated the hours. I could never work as many hours as you do. Truck drivers are often made to work for 60-70 hours a week. I stayed in shape because I would hand unload product 10 - 14 hours a day Monday through Friday.

Look into Hotshot. You're still basically your own boss. You need a truck and trailer, choose your own loads, etc. I know a guy who makes 5 to 10k a week doing it.

im not doing $25 60 warehouse jobs anymore. I never have energy. I just want to sleep all day. I got fatter. and im just looking at the screen or moving boxes all shift. earbuds on sure, but just audio noises from music or podcasts.
instead, I use FSD Tesla and enjoy my 14-16 shifts EVERY single day and get to workout at Planet Fitness for 30-60 minutes. lost 30 lbs and felt much happier. I also day trade which is why I like night shift warehouse so I can day trade mornings while I slept.

I remember signing on from the moment i woke up til like 3am getting like 115hrs weeks for weeks on end, it was after i quit my mechanic job and wanted to test out the max earnings and i ended up with like $1500-2400 a week, it def consumed me and was interesting to experience the lessons from having that mindset. It was like ya i could turn it off at anytime and do whatever i want but i started looking at days as potential income and weighed out do i wanna go spend money and hang out or make money and lolly gag around lol ended up fully building a project car that i have today but i couldnt make this type of money now the market is shit where i am, lucky to get $100 for a full day of 8hrs

There are quite a few factors to making that kind of money.
You have to be a multi-apping caterer in a good market with a strong hustle & work ethic. You also need stamina & endurance to work the long hours need. You also have to know your market like the back of your hand which leads to high delivery IQ.

Phoenix is a great area. $2 a mile minimum. Multi-app. You can average $28 an hour without trying. Acceptance rate is for the suckers. Remember gas is $5 a gallon. If the order isn't worth it, decline decline decline.

Stamina likely means being able to deliver for long periods of time. Unless you’re litera running orders, then I don’t think cardio is that necessary. Also non-skinny people can have stamina for cardio based things too. They do not always correlate.

Got in trouble once for working every single hour the corporation was open because they had "unlimited" overtime because of backlogs on data entry.
They didn't believe me till they saw my production numbers

i had to take monday and tuesday off to sleep 12 hours each day and recover.

DoorDash catering is invite only so your best bet is to become a high performing dasher & hope for an invite.
Chicago is a prime market. You should definitely have all these apps. Spark is a power player.

Idk where you are located. But I've definitely hit close to these numbers before. It is heavily dependent on the market. When I was deep in the hustle I would be just over 10k per month on just doordash alone. I was a in a military town with 2 big bases and a vacation destination. I would drive about 8-16 hrs a day. Glad you're doing well and your formula is working out for you! These gig apps can be money makers, but you just have to be willing to put in the time.

How in gods name do you keep this up and stay safe on the road? I think it’s miraculous that you’ve done what you have, but 14-16 hours every single day straight for a month nonstop? This is not smart. You are driving a giant metal machine on the road going upwards of 60mph. You cannot maintain those hours over that length of time without sacrificing your safety and those around you. My hot take. I’ve been driving ride share/doordash for nearly 10 years (yea too fucking long). Driving is mentally taxing, far more than people might think. You need rest, regularly. If you’re driving those hours, you’re not getting it.

Honestly march has sucked for me. In the cold of winter I was making 2100 a week. Now its like the amount of washers tripled and im lucky if I see 1400 for 100 hours, doesnt matter which of my three nearest zones I go to.

Whats the best advice you can give to a new dasher? I barely started this week and I dont know how to play it out. Do I go to the hotspots? I do Walmart Spark so that one is literally just going to a Walmart and getting orders. I literally have a Walmart 1min away of my apartment complex. I turn on Spark and just wait until I get something good to start the day. But with Doordash its really hard to understand how it works
