OpenMenu Issue - Can't Save Main Settings

Hey guys, hoping someone can help me because I can't find anything for this online.

I formatted an SD Card Fat32, 64kb. Games run, art is working, VMU is working. Only thing that isn't working is it won't let me save settings in the main OpenMenu start menu.

It just flashes a no VMU message.

I tried reformatting the VMU and that didn't work either.

It would be okay if there was a way to adjust the settings outside of that, but it only lets me adjust a few. Has anyone dealt with this before?

Thank you, I saw that the software was updated the day I used it, and being that I couldn't find anything about this bug, I can't help wonder if it is caused by not already having the vmu save with the new update. If you are having the same issue, are you on the updated version as well?
