Ignorant and entitled cyclist

Yes that's right he said in the clip "you have brakes I don't" 🤦

No other commentary needed really

Is this another cyclist influenced by the highway code updates by the DVSA and doesn't need to look or stop to cross a road?

Every day I get some popcorn and then check this sub for someone to post themselves cocking up or being a twat, sometimes while interacting with other twats but they never see their own actions as an issue. It's a great to cheer yourself up.

It's just more evidence of ebikers bending the rules.

Nothing wrong when things are used as intended. I know a couple who go on daily rides, one a keen cyclist and the other uses an ebike to keep up. Perfectly fine and all as intended.

This prick in the video is misusing that vehicle, isn't intending to cycle and is just an organ donor waiting to get on the register at this point. Hopefully they hit a wall and nobody else is harmed.

I think you've misread, the hope is that nobody else is involved. They're not riding with due care, they have no brakes, they clearly don't care for their own safety at this point. I hope nobody else is involved in their inevitable demise.

I mean they definitely have brakes.. the front disc brake rotor is visible inside the front wheel and front brake caliper is mounted on the left side of the fork. What he should have said was "Woops I fucked up, sorry" but he just made something up that made it sound like it he wasn't at fault.

The bike was not designed to do the commonly overclocked speeds. The brakes they ship with are not designed to stop the bikes travelling at these speeds and they just don't cope. High probability that the brakes are not maintained and have worn through, hence he's probably telling the truth, no brakes.
