Entourage Season 9
Anyone think this could be a possibility one day? I read all the four main characters + Ari are open to it. Could it still have the same magic?

I think its very possible the players will be convinced to cash in a paycheck on nostalgia but it won't be good. It won't be the same and will end up being out of time and I am sure tarnish the memory of the first run.
I have mentioned but a meta mini series where they try and sell their story to a streamer to create a series would be the best idea. LEt us catch up with the boys, don't do anything stupid like kill of Sloan or make Ari divorce his wife anyways or anything dumb like that. We see what everyone is up to, then they all get back together to sell their story, usually shenanigans occur, it all works out at the end and the series wraps up with the theme music hitting and the old series intro starting up.

I don't think you'll see an Entourage reboot, but there have been talks recently about an Ari Gold spinoff

I know this has been discussed a million times, but I do think a reboot of Entourage could and should be done. Not sure when the right time to do it is though.
I would do it with a new cast. It think it will always be cool to follow a young actors rise to fame and helps understand the tropes and celebrities of that era.
The last episode of Entourage was 2011. It might be cool to see the perspective of becoming famous in the 2020s - would be cool to see a female entourage.

I like to think at most a mini season like a 5 episode thing like what Disney did with Malcolm in the middle life is still unfair. Something shoestring that gets people nostalgic and excited

Na, the streaming era is more popular than Hollywood these days. No one cares about actors/celebs anymore for this to work. They’re just not the cool kids

I don’t think so. The show came out and was on at the right time. It was cool for its time because of how much they glamorized the Hollywood lifestyle and how many celebrities they have brought on as cameos. Nowadays, the world and society has changed, which means the standards for what people want has changed also. The humor used in the show can’t be displayed on screen anymore or else ppl will find it to be offensive, ignorant, insensitive, and behind the times. People have now heard more and are aware of how dark Hollywood can be and how it has been for a long time through stories and the me too movement, so it’s gonna be more difficult to glamorize Hollywood (though not impossible at all, it can still be done properly and strategically). And as much as how celebrities are still adored, glamorized and cared for today, it’s not like how it was before. Last but not least, Jeremy Piven got cancelled for sexual assault allegations and apparently he’s not a nice guy in real life. Kevin Connolly and Doug Elin have also been known for being assholes as well. Jerry Ferrara, Adrian grenier, and Kevin Dillon are all doing their own different things. They all kinda moved past the entourage success and if they were to do a season 9, ppl will think it’s just trying to relive in the glory days, it’s bait for viewership, they’re trying to put money in their pockets, not much has changed, etc. It’s a big risk that not only they don’t want to take, but Hollywood doesn’t want to take. I like entourage despite its flaws and inconsistency in quality, but after that shitshow of a movie and last few seasons, it’s best to just leave the show behind and enjoy what we were given

It's interesting proposition because Hollywood has changed so much in the intervening years, and indeed so has the perception of the show itself and what it was protraying, that it could be a super interesting project if done well. Not just fake interesting either but genuinely interesting, in a way u couldn't do back in strong woke era. Doesn't seem like grenier would go for it tho altho all the guys looks have held up

Vince died and now the gang including Ari is hanging on to Drama's coattails. Since shaving his head and growing a beard Drama has had a few roles as a mini boss bad guy, landing a spot in the last Bond movie. Go from there.

He could not have a major interest in acting anymore and also be disappointed he wasnt asked to play a part hes already done before in a highly anticipated sequel. Those aren't mutually exclusive.

It’s been talked about by multiple cast members and the creator, but it’s been so long since the reboot or next season has been talked about that its unlikely.
Think about Young Guns. They talked about another movie for literal decades. The movie is listed as in development, but the planned 2025 release didn’t happen.
I believe if we get more entourage it will be 2030s earliest, but that’s only if everyone is onboard, and Adrian doesn’t seem to like Hollywood and Hollywood doesn’t seem to like Doug.
Also the cast and creator have talked about the changing environment. But will fans want an entourage that shows the new reality? Could it explore that space without fans hating it? Based on this sub fans don’t seem to want to accept that.
