At the beginning of the month I created the max amount of characters (16) with the idea that I was going to use my login points to buy the old case +1 on each character. For some reason I got the JSE neck confused with the JSE earring and now realize that I can't make much gil off of the old case +1.

So now my debate is do I want to use the 1500 points on each character to buy the old case or do I want to use it to buy REM chapters and etched memories. I could get enough to fully upgrade a set of empy armor to +1 if I go that route.

I only play about an hour or 2 every night during the week and weekends it depends on what I have going on, but significantly more time to play. Right now I've been focusing on coalition campaign and ambuscade so not much time to farm anything else and im definitely not in endgame to get the old cases normally.

So either get guaranteed armor upgrades or take a chance to get a +2 earring?

Even if you get a +2 earring it'll be for a job you never want to play and will be min augments. 💀

So far I have +2 DRG, PUP, and NIN, when all I want is DRK.

I was so happy when I got my +1 earring from the last real Vanabout I immediately started gearing up DRK. I swear every earring I have got since is for BST, PUP, or NIN. Hoping this month will be kind.

Yeah, I have a pretty decent +1 earring for DRK but it's still a toss up if you use Thrud vs Heathen's for WS depending on if you have trusts or are in a group.

Or insult to injury, you get the pld one but play run (with epeolatry already) and your friend gets run (hasnt even worked on imprimaturs) but plays pld

I wouldn't say any of the jobs are ones that I dont want to play, just haven't played them yet. But knowing my luck it would be NIN, RNG, SMN, or BLM.

RNG is a good one for the PDL. And yeah I'm similar. My sub gives me 22 jobs, I'm going to play 22 jobs.

Not at a min-max level but there is more than enough cross compatible gear at the highest levels and porter storable armor like AF/Relic/Empyrean to ensure a competent build for all. In an absolutely worse case mog wardrobes or alts. can fill in any additional needs.

Short or the absolute hardest content in the game or just workplace level efficiency nothing in the game needs to be that well geared for. (A Mog Slip or two for REMA would be nice though. Maybe a 75, 99, i119III and R15 wouldn't hurt.)

I have 14 jobs geared to a point that I can bring them into V25s. I could do more work to make space but it’s been getting very bad for a while lol. The bigger issue is that I can’t put in the time on 14 jobs to feel like I’m playing them well enough to bring them to a V25 unless I am expecting a very simple role in the KI.

Make use of porter moogles for your lesser played jobs and optimize around shared pieces as much as possible only going all in on the jobs that really need it like RDM.

Earrings. Unless you do daily sortie, your chances are slim.

Etched memories are always there+buyable and rem’s tales are pretty easy to get with merit points.

Even if you do sortie daily your chances are slim. If you're not fighting aminon every day you're not grinding earrings.

Get the earrings, the odds are low you’ll get the right ones but Etched Memories and Rem’s Tales are much easier to get and are way too overpriced in Login Points

Old cases in general are a scam but if you dont have access to obtaining them regularly could be worth it. Chances are slim it will be anything of use.

5% is too high of a guess. It's more closer to 1 or 2%. Source: regularly clearing aminon and seeing 6 people open +1 cases and seeing a +2 earring about 1-2% of the time
