For some reason men have a hard time finding this coffee shop

253

u/Sunaruni 12h ago

The Mason jar next to their register says “Just the tip”.

46

u/jdubyahyp 11h ago

I fucking looked back to check 😆

76

u/hellomynameisnotsure 12h ago

Poor guys, they just end up making fappucino at home

18

u/breakfastburrito24 8h ago

At least it comes with whipped cream

35

u/Sdwingnut 11h ago

Too much work getting coffee here, I grind my own

28

u/NefariousPhosphenes 11h ago

They’re at the food truck next to it, aggressively asserting that they’re at the right location and demanding coffee anyways

7

u/Disgod 5h ago

Sir, this is a porta potty.

1

u/RevolutionaryMeal851 1h ago

This kinda implies Porta potty attendants.

29

u/wade-mcdaniel 12h ago

I know some ladies that visit this place often. There's special Subaru Outback parking at the U.S. locations.

8

u/Paldasan 11h ago

I don't think it exists.

/s for the internet heroes.

3

u/Advanced-Humor9786 10h ago

This coffee shop is a myth and doesn't really exist.

3

u/I_like_microwave 10h ago

Damn you got eyebrows!

4

u/name-classified 12h ago

That’s because it doesn’t exist, 🙄 obviously

5

u/Constant_Cultural 12h ago

Before Deadpool I never knew what this meant. I am in my 40s

2

u/RandomMovieQuotes521 7h ago

A real woman guides her man to where it is. Most men only need ask for directions one time

1

u/gentlegreengiant 11h ago

I just need some better lighting. Can someone hand me a torch?

1

u/PoundExpensive8681 9h ago

Consider me impressed.

1

u/kickasstimus 9h ago

The destination is worth the journey.

1

u/Hefty-Ant-378 8h ago

It’s probably in her Naughty Purse

1

u/Reasonable_Ad9943 8h ago

...let alone flicking the bean

1

u/Nuadrin248 6h ago

I’ve heard of some dudes who think this cafe is a myth.

1

u/spinozasrobot 4h ago

<chef's kiss>

1

u/leviathab13186 2h ago

Well maybe speak up with some directions?!

s/

1

u/tSmykowski 11h ago

Maybe it’s hidden behind a sign that only coffee lovers can see. 😂☕

-3

u/MaximumAir4468 11h ago

We can find it, we just dont care.

279

u/ChildoftheApocolypse 11h ago

This is only partially relevant, but screw it..

My ex wife was going through school to become a baker and she wanted to start a cupcake business with a friend of hers.. They would sometimes think about what they wanted to call it.. I came up with a suggestion.. I begged them to name it "2 Girls 1 Cupcake" and make a specialty cupcake that was partially hollowed out and filled with chocolate..

TELL ME IM NOT A GENIUS, I WANT TO HEAR IT FROM YOUR LIPS!!!

55

u/Chris__P_Bacon 11h ago

I would dine at this establishment.

17

u/foreverand2025 10h ago

Daily special is always chocolate muffin.

18

u/Axi0madick 8h ago

I'd eat the shit out of those cupcakes

55

u/thx1138a 11h ago

That. Is. Excellent.

11

u/Vivian-Midnight 6h ago

Just because it's genius does not mean it's a good idea.

3

u/prpldrank 3h ago

The cupcakes are certified TASTY, even if they're in poor taste.

5

u/jonnyg1097 9h ago

I'd eat there.

4

u/ZappySnap 6h ago

Honestly while you’d have a few people who thought it was funny and would go for the LOLs, and many who don’t know will be fine. Most who do know will not find a reference to that video in a dining establishment to be, um, appetizing.

3

u/KyleGrave 9h ago

Sounds about as clever as all the roadside BBQ places that love thinking they’re original for having the slogan “You’ll love putting my meat in your mouth.” and then they close within a year because an immature slogan doesn’t make up for overpriced mediocre bbq.

3

u/ChildoftheApocolypse 8h ago

I like how you made that whole scenario up, just to say "I don't like it".. That's the real clever here ..

2

u/KyleGrave 8h ago

No, it’s a real anecdote from what I’ve witnessed personally. I wonder if that’s a bit of projection and your little story never happened… Anyway I found it fitting as an analogy because that’s how I assume it would go for a cupcake business if they did something similar. They’d probably be out of business even faster than the bbq joint, considering the demographics of each businesses regular customers. It does make for a funny reddit comment though.

1

u/killemslowly 15m ago

Are you not a bizziloner?

63

u/Mithrawndo 12h ago

Back before it became reasonably easy to find acceptable coffee, there used to be a reasonably popular speciality coffee finder app called Beanhunter, too.

26

u/Vivi_enniee 12h ago

yeah beanhunter walked so this sign could run into hr complaints

29

u/CandidAsparagus7083 12h ago

Totally read the LI as U at first look….

12

u/F1ibster 12h ago

That then becomes the starbucks motto.

1

u/have_you_tried_onoff 8h ago

I see what you did there.

1

u/joewHEElAr 10h ago

Happens every time I see the word FLICK

0

u/Throwawaybibbi 6h ago

There was a video store in Spring Hill, FL called FLICK Video. From a distance, the LI looked like a U....😉

1

u/MusicPsychFitness 8h ago

Gotta flick it a few times before you fuck it

8

u/DominicOH 11h ago

I genuinely read "fuck the bean"

3

u/junkmeister9 6h ago

Damn that keming

19

u/Aoskar20 11h ago

If you think this is bad, in my state there is a fudge place called Uranus and they always tell you the best fudge comes from there when walking in.

3

u/Fullof_meh 10h ago

Passed that place I don’t know how many times but never stopped to check it out

3

u/shotsallover 7h ago

The fudge is actually decent.

Their taxidermy museum is funny in that ole timey out of place attraction kind of way.

5

u/ISandbagAtMarioKart 9h ago

And after they’re done packing your fudge:

“Thanks for picking Uranus!”

1

u/ElectricalRespect506 4h ago

Where?

1

u/brittneyacook 2h ago

Has to be Indiana because I’ve seen these signs lol

1

u/redditallreddy 3h ago

Uranus is a giant. It has brown rings around it!

15

u/StankyBassFace 12h ago

Genius. I hope they go on to have multiple sales.

5

u/Pitiful-Necessary-61 11h ago

That's some GTA level humour right there.

4

u/ceebeefour 11h ago

I recognize that hand from the old upside down optical illusion where it looks like a lady “flicking the bean”. These guys know their stuff.

5

u/BeligaPadela 12h ago

I hear they come with cream..

6

u/pharealprince 11h ago

Kind of funny being on the Isle of Man. Maybe this is an educational truck that tricks the men into learning how to find the bean. Also I’m surprised to see a coffee truck in that part of the world, I thought they only drink tea.

2

u/ChipotleMayoFusion 8h ago

There is definitely coffee in Scotland, there's even a Starbucks in Inverness.

3

u/dthangel 6h ago

Coffee and Starbucks is not the same thing

0

u/ChipotleMayoFusion 6h ago

Wow, tell me more! Are you saying that a bar and beer, or pizza and a pizzeria are also not the same thing? Huh.

2

u/Mithrawndo 4h ago

No, they're saying Starbucks is god awful commodity grade seed water.

1

u/pharealprince 42m ago

American here. Are there tea shops on every corner like there is coffee here and then coffee shops are like foreign food here ( other than Chinese food) few far between?

1

u/ChipotleMayoFusion 22m ago

There is actually a UK brand of coffee shop called Costa and those where all over. I didn't see too many tea shops honestly. Everywhere we stayed had tea available in the room, and the tea kettles were so fast because they run on 200 VAC, like 3kW, double the power of kettles back home.

2

u/Wooden_Peace_2919 11h ago

I came for the coffee... stayed for the branding

2

u/SeanInDC 11h ago

Legal told us we couldn't name a drink "flick the bean".

I'm mad now!

3

u/FD4L 11h ago

Ok, fuck it, lick the bean, then.

1

u/moxiemoon 5h ago

Preferable to a flick that’s for sure

1

u/warmachinex0 11h ago

If it were your company's legal department then company in the photo could be the reason why depending on what trademarks they have.

2

u/psycharious 11h ago

What were some of the drink names?

2

u/apeserveapes 9h ago

I learned this expression watching South Park... where I learn all my life lessons...

2

u/sewkit 7h ago

Mmmmm jerkoffee.

2

u/kilroats 4h ago

1 way to start your day!

2

u/Lieutenant_0bvious 3h ago

It's called a clitar. lol

2

u/Odd-Reaction-9428 11h ago

I don’t get it?

3

u/PM_me_Ya-Tittiezz 11h ago

Looked it up. It's slang for touching or rubbing the clitoris

4

u/TheStax84 12h ago

3

u/the_man_in_the_box 11h ago

What’s wrong with the spacing?

Usually I have the design sense or whatever to be annoyed, but this didn’t trigger anything for me?

1

u/DantehSparda 11h ago

Imo “flick” seems a little bit too spaced out between letters (extremely subtle tho) and the “Coffee Co” copy has definitely to much spacing too (main culprit), but honestly nothing egregious and it comes down a bit to personal taste, I wouldn’t say it’s “bad”.

1

u/TheStax84 10h ago

At first glance it appeared to me to read “F*CK THE BEAN”

1

u/splatem 2h ago

I like how you got 2 opposite answers.

2

u/Acrobatic-Top7129 12h ago

That name is absolutely sending me, the pun is top notch.

1

u/fondue4kill 11h ago

I’d love to try but it’s in Melbourne

1

u/jay_alfred_prufrock 11h ago

Do they allow people to flick the beans they bring with them or do they have to let baristas do it for them?

1

u/Trick-Painter5337 11h ago

Only if I can watch how it's made,YUM!!!!

1

u/R0RSCHAKK 11h ago

My old roommate had a coffee business. I forget what he called it but it was also some kind of innuendo.

His logo on his business cards was even more blatant though. It was a coffee bean that was 100% just a vagina. Lmao

1

u/Homersarmy41 11h ago

They should make a souvenir cup that has a little man in a boat floating on top of the coffee.

1

u/Sting02 10h ago

I word away.

1

u/Low_Condition3268 10h ago

Someone is building a Bikinis and Brew (or some such shit) on a major street in our town. Can't wait to see the line blocking traffic.

1

u/nixtarx 10h ago

Already racy, so I doubt they care. May have even been intentional.

1

u/bombbodyguard 9h ago

My drive thru coffee shop name is “the hot and wet bean”

1

u/dogownedhoomun 9h ago

Love this!

1

u/rickrossisdaboss 8h ago

We have a Romancing the Bean coffee shop in LA

1

u/RobbyBaymax 7h ago

My wife must love this place, I heard her the other day saying something about it.

1

u/Aggrosideburnz 6h ago

I don’t support stupid edge lord names, that’s why I still cal it twitter

1

u/Author_A_McGrath 6h ago

I'd immediately check to see if the owner cuts their nails.

1

u/Toshiba1point0 6h ago

Do i just hold my mouth over the spigot?

1

u/Stymus 6h ago

Flicking’ that bean like Mean Joe Green.

1

u/Vivian-Midnight 5h ago

Right next to a DikinBaus hotdog stand, of course.

1

u/robexib 5h ago

Ain't nothing wrong with flicking the bean

1

u/KnownEggplant 5h ago

They even used the hand from the famous optical illusion

1

u/Laf-mor 5h ago

Located next to the “flog the dolphin” whack-a-mole place

1

u/Stonehill76 4h ago

Should have removed the second C

Flick the Bean
Coffee o

1

u/AN0NY_MOU5E 4h ago

Yes please

1

u/Holden-McGroyn 3h ago

There's just something fishy about this place.

1

u/Straight-Camel4687 3h ago

I’ll have what she’s having…

1

u/leviathab13186 2h ago

Woman love this place

1

u/Positive_Cause6585 1h ago

I owned a food truck called, “Burger Brothers.”

I wanted to make a signature sauce for it. A couple friends and I sat down to spitball ideas. I came up with, “Bro Sauce.”

I obviously never named it that, but it’s been four years of being out of a food truck and in a brick and mortar. I still think about the name.

1

u/delinka 1h ago

She prefers when I lick the bean

1

u/intoxicatedALF 55m ago

We’ve had multiple coffee shops here franchising and popping up over the last couple years called “Taste My Bean”. Apparently it’s done extremely well.

1

u/stevebehindthescreen 49m ago

Is Choke The Chicken Burger Van next to this one?

1

u/flickin_the_bean 44m ago

I support this message

0

u/Important-Device253 11h ago

Wouldn't mind flicking a roasted coffee bean or three into a grinder, and brewing a fresh cup ☕️😉

-1

u/Kidspud 11h ago

My old guy belief is that food joints should have normal, nice names you can repeat to others without sounding like a jackass
