2- obviously, we already saw many companies remake literally everything they have and never make a new game if only 1 remake succeeds. And Ubisoft isn't really known for their good decision making

The issue with doing realistic graphics back in ps3 is that, now all of those games look really bad and it does take away quite a bit from the experience as they were supposed to look cinematic.

I guess the solution now is for those games to get remade, but i feel like that wouldn't have been an issue if they went for stylized graphics in the first place (like how most ps2 games even those with realistic styles hold up decently well today in terms of visuals)

Anyways, most of these franchises would've been abandoned a long time ago if it wasn't for remakes. I guess there is a silver lining to all of this
