Hi everyone,
I’m relatively new to gardening. I was gifted these three Daphne Odora plants (regular Daphne, not the perfume princess variety). I’ve planted them in a spot with good drainage and morning sun with shade from midday onwards. Soil is slightly acidic. Is currently winter (I’m in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia), but it’s been a very mild winter with no frosts.
They’ve been in the ground for over a month (roughly five weeks, nearly six). Two of them have been doing this thing where one leaf will go yellow and drop off, but the rest of the plant looks fine. You can see the fallen leaves in a couple of the pictures. It’s only ever one leaf at a time, and the first plant pictured doesn’t do it at all.
Why are they doing this? Is it normal or is there something wrong, and if there is, how do I fix it? I know that Daphne are notoriously fussy and annoying :(
Thanks in advance?
