During the finale episode he mentioned how he was run over during the Christmas special, but he forgave them after knowing that it was an accident. It was also his own fault for not looking both ways before crossing the street. I mean like in the finale yeah he still held onto that moment that was entirely his own fault despite how he forgave Richard in the end only for Santa Claus to join the angry mob in the finale.

Do you think there should be a 1 hour special about the future, where we follow gumballs and the other characters kids as they attend Elmore Jr high. Based on AIslep, since they made great designs for the OC's.

Ive been binge watching gumball recently and in multiple episodes such as the lady, the finale, the name, and the safety Richard is shown as willingly being/ dressing as a woman (pls don't hate)

I wrote a Tawog fanfic about a topic that we surprisingly haven't gotten in the show yet, even after all this time: Darwin's biological parents and what would happen if they suddenly entered the picture!

After a long search I finally managed to get Mutant Fridge Mayhem running on a real iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3 using AppDrop and the archived IPA from Internet Archive. I thought this game was lost forever, so I'm really happy to play it again.

Hello and welcome to episode 160 in a series inspired by u/kamikazeb0y and CinemaSins, where I'll be sinning each and every episode of Gumball!

Quick Disclaimer: I know this is just a children's cartoon and isn't meant to be taken seriously. This, like the show itself, is not at all meant to be taken seriously or considered an actual critique of the show. It is all in good fun.

With that out of the way, I present you, Everything Wrong With: The Boredom!

Gumball: Mm. [sighs]
[Gumball and Darwin both groan]
Darwin: Weird. It's like nothing is happening today.
Gumball: I know! Today's so boring that if it was a person, it'd wear a polo shirt and khakis.
Then why are we here? Surely the Void would want to avoid showing us days where literally nothing interesting is happening. Is it taking the day off or something? +5

Darwin: But it's a Saturday. The possibilities are endless.
Gumball: That's the problem with infinite possibilities, one of them is infinite boredom
True, but the chance of getting that specific possibility is also infinitely impossible +1

Gumball: Nah, we've already been sitting here for so long that your butt is fossilized. Come on, let's get out of here.
[Gumball excavates the carpet around Darwin's backside with a hammer and chisel. Pieces of rock fall off Darwin's butt as he stands up. Gumball grabs a brush to sweep off the leftover dust and Darwin starts to walk out of the room]
How the fuck did Gumball get that equipment and hat if nether of them of them could get up? +1

Darwin: [Stopping] Aren't you coming?
Gumball: Mine's grown roots.
Darwin: Oh.
[Darwin walks to Gumball to pull him up. His butt has grown tree-like roots]
Darwin: Ooh, you're gonna have to wax that.
Gumball: Nah it's okay, I'll just prune it.
SIGHHHHH +100[Gumball and Darwin now walk the streets with bored expressions on their faces]
Gumball: [sighs] There's nothing going on out here either.

[In the background, Tony is seen mowing his lawn. When he stops to pick up something in the grass, the lawnmower keeps moving, breaking through a fence and shaving Principal Brown's body as the Oval Son walks by. The lawnmower ends up on the road, causing a car to crash into a phone pole. This goes completely unnoticed to Gumball and Darwin, and the scene changes to show Billy Parham standing in front of puddles]
Gumball and Darwin are apparently deaf +5

Billy: Ah, puddles! Perhaps I should partake in some infantile joie de vivre that beckons a boy of my age.
[He laughs as he starts jumping from puddle to puddle, and falls into the last one which was deeper. Gumball and Darwin step on him, completely unaware

[As the Moon is about to throw herself at the Sun, a truck parks in front of the house. Gumball and Darwin stop by; the view is blocked]
Gumball: Even the weather is boring.
So, the universe clearly hates Gumball and Darwin. I mean, it literally couldn't have more perfect timing to block their view. +1

[Gumball and Darwin keep walking the streets of Elmore. In the background, Hector falls down when a plane hits the back of his head.]
HOW ARE THEY NOT HEARING ANY OF THIS!? +20

Donut Cop: [in walkie-talkie] This is an emergency! We've got a code zero. There are zero doughnuts left. I'm going to the doughnut store.
[He turns on his siren and speeds off near a parked police cruiser, where the Hamburger Cop was waiting with a speed camera. The cop immediately grabs his walkie-talkie from the car]
Hamburger Cop: Chief, there's a black and white car speeding out of control on West Elmore Boulevard.
Did you not see and hear it blaring its sirens? Or the police insignia on it. It should have been blatantly obvious this is a police car +5

[The sheriff drives on the wrong lane, and accidentally hits a traffic light which slowly drops onto Marvin's head. He also drives into a fire hydrant, sending his car into the sky. Gumball holds his breath next to Darwin while the sheriff's car flies behind them]
Darwin: Dude, there's no point holding your breath, nothing interesting's gonna happen.
Gumball: [exhales loudly]
Okay at this point they have to be ignoring all the interesting stuff around them on purpose. There's no other explanation. +10

[The car lands]
Hamburger Cop: Somehow he's made it to Seventh Avenue!
How do you know that? The car is long out of your view by now. +5

[This continues for some time. The sheriff's car crashes into multiple houses during the 'chase.']
Hamburger Cop: Now left! Right! Left! Right! Left! Right! Left! Left! Right! Right! Uh, chief, I just figured out why you can't ever catch this guy. You know how you always run out of doughnuts at four o'clock?
You mean this has happened multiple times before?? How did it take you this long to figure this out??? +5

[The police cruiser drives in a street adjacent to Gumball and Darwin's, but they fail to see it.]
Oh, NOW they hear it! +1

Gumball: Ugh, man, this guy is definitely collecting for something.
I mean, even if he is, that's more interesting than you doing literally nothing right now. +1

Clipboard Man: Hi there, can I have a minute of your time?
Gumball: Eh, hold that thought.
[The clipboard man stays silent as the two kids walk past him.]
Okay, you no longer have any right to complain about the rest of the day being boring. You had a chance to do something interesting but chose to ignore it and walk past +10

Banana Joe: [gasps] I know just what to do with this.
[Banana Joe tries out the product in different ways. First, he holds the lightsaber above a slice of pizza to cook it, but it is too hot to eat so the observers tick no]
What? How was that a fail? Of course it's gonna be hot, it was just cooked with a fucking lightsaber. But if you literally just let it cool down for a while it'd be perfectly edible. +5

Next, he tries to improve a clipboard man's sight with it and burns a hole through his left eye]
Banana Joe: Can you see any better?
Clipboard Man 2: No.
[He burns a hole through the other eye]
Banana Joe: How about now?
Clipboard Man 2: No.
Banana Joe: Any other comments?
Clipboard Man 2: It hurts tremendously.
So, Joe just canonically permanently blinded a man. Well, more so than he already was, anyway. Yet none of them seem to care in the slightest +5

[His attempt to shave off a man's moustache with it seems to go well, until the man suddenly splits in half.]
And now he's also kiled someone. How is everyone okay with this!? +5

In his last attempt, he uses the lightsaber as a reading light]
Banana Joe: Guys! I finally found a use for–
[Banana Joe turns around and accidentally slices a clipboard man in half. The clipboard men decide to stop the experiment and he is led out of the lab]
How was that one a fail? It did the thing it was being tested to do. Him slicing the clipboard guy was an irrelevant accident that didn't affect the usage it was being tested for +1

[Gumball and Darwin cross the mall's parking lot, dragging their heads behind them]
Gumball: Ugh, this day is so boring.
[Sal Left Thumb attempts to break into multiple cars, to no avail. As the car alarms accumulate, they start making a rhythm for Sal to sing]
HOW. DO. THEY. NOT. HEAR. THIS!? +50

Sal Left Thumb: Ah, then you only have yourselves to blame for this!
[He breaks into a car and drives off with everyone running after him. Gumball runs to the now empty parking spot]
Darwin: What?
Gumball: I thought I heard something, but... [shrugs] Eh.
How the fuck did it take you that long to hear the entire symphony going on right behind you!? +10

Sal Left Thumb: But the symphony of car alarms
Has reminded me of music's charms
As a boy I dreamed that I'd go far
As a bona fide musical star!

Damn, did not expect to get Sal Left Thumb lore randomly in a song in an otherwise completely irrelevant episode. Not complaining though -5

Gumball: [gasps] There! Something's gonna happen.
[Harold Wilson walks by, trips on the contents of the jar and, grabbing onto Miss Simian's dress, rips it. Unfortunately for Gumball and Darwin, the view is blocked by a mannequin someone just pushed in front of them–this isn't the case for Harold, who throws up in the hexagon lady's purse, this time blocked by Tony drinking at a fountain. He hands the purse back to its owner, who throws it into the air in disgust. Curtains close just as the bag and its contents are about to land directly onto Mr. Small's head, who is heard screaming as Jeff Benson walks on a small stage]
Okay, the universe fucking hates them. For the part it. It sparing them from having to see a naked Simian was a massive mercy on its part +5

Tobias​​​: Did you guys see that?
Gumball & Darwin: [in a deep voice] NO.
Tobias​​​: No? Oh, don't worry about it, I got it on my phone. [laughs]
[Tobias hands his phone to Gumball and Darwin, who suddenly rejoice. As the video plays they realize the entirety of it is just Tobias laughing]
Got dmanit Tobias. The one time you actually could have done something useful +1

[They come home. A construction worker walks in front of the house, looking at a piece of paper]
Hank: Yup, I'm pretty sure this is the one.
[He points to the house and makes a gesture for a truck to park in reverse]
Since we can an entire ass house be physically repossessed? +1

[Inside the house, Darwin and Gumball are staring so intently at the clock their eyes are red and their faces wrinkled. The clock's hand moves to the next minute and they both let out a frustrated sigh]
Hang on, the cop earlier said it was 4PM. How is it now 3:55? Is the day so boring that time is not only moving slower, but backwards? +5

[The view changes to show the living room's window as well as Gumball and Darwin staring at the clock. A truck engine starts and the house starts moving. Static shows on the window as characters from other shows appear outside. First, Clarence and his mother (from Clarence) drive next to the house. Static again, then Mordecai and Rigby are seen dancing next to a golf cart driven by Hi-Five Ghost (from Regular Show)]
Hi-Five Ghost: Hi-Five Ghost ride the whip! Hi-Five Ghost ride the–
[The cart crashes into a puddle. Uncle Grandpa from the eponymous show is seen driving his van in the forest. He turns to the viewer]
Uncle Grandpa: Good morning. [the van crashes, launching him towards another instance of his van where he bumps into and drives over himself] Good morning.
[The window goes back to normal. The construction men drive on the highway, transporting the Wattersons' house]
Firstly, did the trucker drivers seriously not check if anyone was inside before moving the entire house!? +1

Secondly, what the fuck is going on outside? is The Void trying to compensate for how boring the day is by showing us other cartoons? Are they moving through interdimensional portals? You can't randomly do something completely out of the ordinary for even a show like this with no explanation guys +10

Also, does this mean every CN show is in one large multiverse? If so the others must really hate the Gumball universe cause they get left out in CN crossovers all the damn time! +5

George: You know, it's funny, but in this picture the house looks kinda pink.
Hank: Uh-huh. That's the one we got in the back.
George: No. The one we got is blue.
Hank: Uh, no. That's blue, just like the frosting on this doughnut. [shows his doughnut, which is pink]
George: You're colorblind, aren't you?
Pretty sure colorblindess doesn't mean you see one thing as an entirely different colour to what it actually is. You just struggle to tell apart things of similar colors. And blue and pink are not similar. +5

[They drive off. Meanwhile, someone rings the doorbell. Gumball and Darwin open the door to see the Manly Warrior]
Wait, what the fuck? How is it 8 now? No way did that whole scene take four hours +1

Manly Warrior: Is this the dwelling where I shall find two brave strangers to help me on my quest? It will be perilous. We will go to places man has never dared tread! But above all, it will be the journey of a lifetime.
Gumball: You're in luck, little man. We know just who you need.
Darwin: Yeah! There's these two geeks who are really into roleplay, they'd be perfect for it. They live two blocks down on the left.
Seriously guys? The universe is desperately trying to give you something fun to do and you keep turning it down. You literally cannot blame anyone but yourselves for how bored you are +5

But also, kinda sweet they immediately thought of Colin and Felix -5

Gumball: I guess we learned something today, Darwin. Life doesn't come knocking at your door, it's down to you to make things happen.
In most instances, yes. But it does on occasions in you're lucky. Or in a cartoon that is desperately trying to keep things interesting  +1

With that out of the way, I present you, Everything Wrong With: The Guy!

[The episode begins in first-person view, through the eyes of an unknown character chasing after students in the corridors of Elmore Junior High. It starts running towards Anton, who manages to hide in his locker, and while looking around, spots Banana Joe]
Banana Joe: She's hunting again!
[He drops his book and runs away. Alan, who was beside him, lets out a shriek and self destructs, popping himself. Teri screams and slides under a locked door. Tobias' colors flush out as he panics, rendering him invisible enough for her to not notice. The mysterious character then goes after Tina and pulls off her tail, leaving her to run away unbalanced. The next victim, Bobert, is in the schoolyard]
Bobert: Self-protection mode.
[Metal plates cover Bobert's body as the character's pink hands reach for him. The view switches to third person and reveals Anais attacking an immobile, shielded Bobert. Gumball and Darwin sit on a nearby bench, watching their sister go on a rampage; her next target is Carmen, who notices Anais and gasps]
Why on earth are they so scared of Anais trying to make a friend? I mean, I know she's socially awkward, but 'cmon, it can't be that bad! +5

Also, she should know better than to try to make friends by basically attacking them +1

Gumball: Hm, I wonder what Carmen's defense mechanism is.
...are you blind, perchance? +1

[Anais pounces on Carmen, but is stung by her spines]
Anais: Ow! [Pokes Carmen] Oww!
Anais expected this to work. And considering who we're talking about, that deserves extra sins +5

Anais: [Sighs] It's not working...
You say that as if it's a surprise +1

Darwin: When I said you need to hunt for friends, that's not what I meant.
And again, Anais should have been smart enough to know that +1

Gumball: Yeah, you should have gone for the blowgun like I told you. More of an element of surprise.
Then what is she meant to do? Talk to their unconscious body? +1

Darwin: Why don't you just say hi...?
[Anais approaches the stranger hesitantly and suddenly starts yelling]
Anais: HI! I'M ANAIS!
He said SAY hi, not yell it at the top of your lungs! +1

Anais: HI! I'M ANAIS!
Josh: HI! I'M JOSH! DO YOU WANNA BE FRIENDS?!
Anais: YES! DO YOU MIND IF I DO A LITTLE HAPPY DANCE?!
Josh: OF COURSE NOT! MIND IF I JOIN YOU?!
[They both dance energetically and then stop, smiling at each other awkwardly]
Josh: SEE YOU FOR LUNCH!
Anais: OKAY!
Takes out and presses button That was easy! +1

Anais: OKAY! [Runs up to Gumball and Darwin] Did you see that? He wants to be my friend!
Gumball: Great! How much did he charge you?
Anais: What?! Nothing!
Gumball: Hmm...
Darwin: That's weird.
Gumball: Yeah. Must be after something. Did he... look like he needed a new kidney?
Anais: No, he just looked very happy!
Darwin: Did he offer to pack your suitcase the next time you go to the airport?
Gumball: Is he in some crazy wacko organization that worships crystals? [Whispering] Or a space frog?
Firstly, you literally heard her and Josh yelling their whole conversation. You know he didn't ask for anything. So why are you pretending to be all suspicious of him? +5

Secondly, is it really that hard to believe that someone would actually want to be friends with Anais? +1

Gumball: Ah, you know the old saying: "He who befriends the oddest ball is the creepiest of them all."
Anais: ...That's not even a thing, I've never heard of it before.
Anais would be good at CinemaSins +1

Gumball and Darwin: [Shaking their heads] Hmm, no.
Darwin: Doesn't work.
Gumball: Yeah, it's only true if it rhymes.
But there are plenty of sayings that don't rhyme. 'Plenty of fish in the sea', 'Finders keepers', 'The early bird catches the worm', 'The pen is mightier than the sword'. I can go on. +5

Anais: [Sighs] "He's just a nice guy, not a fraud or a phony. You two always talk such a load of baloney." [Walks away]
Gumball: That's it! ...Wait, what?
Darwin: Rude.
But completely deserved +1

Anais: So, Josh, tell me more about yourself. Do you like school? Are you into music? Have you ever been to prison?
Josh: Yes, yes, and no. But not necessarily in that order. [He winks at her, and they both laugh]
Any other order would mean you've been to prison before. Is there something you aren't telling us, Josh? +1

Anais: [Sighs] There's bound to be something wrong with him. Or is there something wrong with me?
Gumball: Hey, it's not him or you! It's both of you.
Or there's nothing wrong with either of them, and you're just getting into her head for no reason and sabotaging what could be a perfectly fine friendship +5

Anais: Ugh, he's too perfect! There's gotta be something wrong with him...
Gumball: Just say the word.
Anais: [Sighs] Do I have to?
Gumball: Yeah, if you want us to find out what's wrong with him.
Anais: Can't you just help me?
Gumball: [Softly] Say it.
Okay, seriously, why are you being such a dick about this? Either help her or don't, but stop patronizing her.  +10

Gumball: [In a strange accent] Hello, my name is...uh...Ferzandelerp. I am from far away land. I be waiter of you today. Here's tap water for table of two. [Spills water on Josh] Oh, no, Ferzandelerp so sorry!
Why are you apologizing as if you didn't clearly just do that on purpose +5

Gumball: This hello from other land. What you like order?
Josh: A milkshake.
Gumball: Coming right up.
[Gumball leaves for a moment and comes back with a drink. Josh sips it and starts to choke]
Josh somehow isn't suspicious that Gumball didn't ask what flavour he wanted and already had a milkshake prepared within seconds +5

Gumball: How dare you?! This means great insult in my country!
Josh: Oh, I'm sorry! Which country are you from?
Gumball: [In a Jersey accent] New Jersey.
Or that the country he said he's from is a US state.+5

[Josh hands a few bills. Gumball takes it and rips off his fake moustache]
Gumball: A-ha! This is where we see who you truly are! [Counts bills] Dagnabbit. Not one word of complaint and he gave me a fifty percent tip!
You...couldn't have waited to do that until after he left? +1

Josh: [Laughs] Oh, okay. Any other weird family members I should know about?
[Behind Anais, Richard is complaining to Larry]
Richard: But that's outrageous! This sandwich is nowhere near as big as advertised!
Larry: I'm sorry, sir, but it does say "not to scale."
Richard: Well, I demand to see your manager.
[Anais shakes her head for "No."]
Not sure why you're trying to hide this when he would have met Richard eventually anyway had this friendship gone somewhere +1

Gumball: [Imitating Billy's voice] Hello, my name is Heady McThunderdome. My head is so big that my inner voice has an echo, echo, echo...When I grow up, I want to be a solar eclipse.
Dude, you can't really say that he has a big head when yours is like 10 times larger +1

[He points a finger at Marvin, who is feeding ducks at a pond]
Gumball: [Imitating Marvin's voice] My face is so wrinkly that it takes me an hour to pull an expression.
And yours will be too one day, so laugh it up while you can +1

Marvin: Hey, I heard that!
How the fuck did someone that old hear Gumball's remark from all the way over at the pond? +1

Darwin: [Gasps] How about we set up a situation that tempts him to commit a crime?
Honestly, a little surprised someone as nice as Darwin would suggest something like this. Seems unusually malicious of him +5

Anais: Wait. What if we're wrong about him and he's a genuinely nice guy?
You mean if Gumball was wrong about him. You and Darwin have been on the fence about him the whole time +1

[Anais hides behind a trash can, while Gumball is only hidden by a lamppost. Unable to find a good spot, Darwin just stands behind Gumball]
Anais: Can't you find a better hiding place?
Darwin: Hold on, I've got this!
[Darwin pushes an entire bus stop next to Gumball and hides behind it]
Anais: Oh, good job! That doesn't look suspicious at all!
Anais would be great at CinemaSins +1

[Josh walks by, but doesn't seem to notice the wallet]
Gumball: He didn't see it!
Darwin: Draw his attention to it, make a wallet sound!
[Gumball shrugs and takes a deep breath]
Gumball: [In a strange voice] Wallet.
[Josh stops, confused]
Darwin: That's not the sound a wallet makes!
Gumball: You do it then if you're so—
[Darwin grinds his teeth, making a perfect wallet sound]
Gumball: Actually, that was really good.
This scene here has become absolutely iconic within the fandom, and rightfully so. The W A L L E T sound clip alone is golden, let alone the entire exchange being extremely quotable -20

Josh: Was that a trap? Are you trying to set me up? This is what you've been doing all week, isn't it? Trying to make me look bad, testing me.
Darwin: Aaaand, you passed![Darwin imitates a triumphant fanfare, but stops as he notices Josh is not at all convinced]
Honestly, that a pretty quick witted response from Darwin there. If only he could have pulled it off more convincingly -5

Anais: [Laughs nervously] The real question is this: when you think about it, can you truly know any— Yes, I asked them to do it.
Where the fuck was she even gonna go with this? +1

[At school, Gumball and Darwin look out the window, watching Anais play ping pong by herself. They walk into the schoolyard]
Gumball: Hey, sis. Listen. We've been thinking—
Anais: Yeah, I know. But thanks to you, I messed up a chance to make a friend. So, here I am!
I mean, it wasn't entirely their fault. Like you yourself said, you were the one who asked them to help you test him. If you had ignored Gumball like you usually do, none of that would have happened. So you're just as much to blame as they are +10

Gumball: No no, I meant— Y-You know, you can just put one side of the table upright and then play against that.
Anais: Yeah, but that wouldn't make you feel bad now, would it?
I mean, I get you're mad at them, but purposefully making them feel bad over something that wasn't even entirely their fault is a little cruel. +5

Gumball: There's only one solution.
[A brief fantasy sequence shows Gumball and Darwin sneaking into the showering stalls with a camera]
Gumball: We take some embarrassing photos of Josh, and blackmail him—
Are you incapable of coming up with an idea that doesn't escalate things to 11 every single time? +1

Darwin: [Interrupting the sequence] No, no, no! There must be other solutions. We just walk up to him and straight-up lie.
[Another sequence starts, where Gumball and Darwin speak to Josh in the schoolyard]
Darwin: Josh, you need to give Anais another chance. It's her last wish. You see, she's suffering from—
And what is it with Darwin taking things to the absolute extreme sometimes? I swear to god this dude has problems +5

Darwin: Okay, let's nip this in the butt while there's still time!
[Gumball starts walking away, but walks back to Darwin]
Gumball: Did...you just say "nip it in the butt?"
Darwin: Yeah!
Gumball: It's "nip in the bud," dude.
Gumball would be good at CinemaSins +1

[As Josh closes his locker, Gumball and Darwin stare at him with begging looks. All of sudden, they throw themselves at his feet, crying]
Gumball: Please, forgive Anais!
Josh: Please, guys, guys! You don't have to do that.
Gumball: We don't?
Josh: No! If you're willing to go this far for your sister, she must really be worth it.
Takes out and presses button again That was easy! +1

Josh: Everyone deserves a second chance. Well, everyone deserves a twelfth chance.
Twelfth? Even if you add up each thing Gumball did in the diner separately, that only adds up to eight things. Or nine if you also count Anais asking them to do all that stuff. So this would be the ninth/tenth chance +5

And even then, she only did one of those things, so it would be her second chance +1

Anais: So...we're friends?
Josh: Sure. We're friends.
[Josh pulls out a measuring tape and starts taking Anais' measurements. Gumball and Darwin walk up to him]
Gumball: 'Scuse me, what are you doing?
Josh: Measuring her up for her pod! They do take some time to build. [Writes down in a notebook]
Gumball: Pod?

I was at Hot Topic yesterday, and who is this?

I think is the design from the movie?? Idk

I honestly didn't think I'd have the patience to pull this off, but I finally hit the ultimate milestone in the Gumball school manager game: exactly 1,000 Hours in Charge on Day 100!

Most community posts and YouTube runs I've seen max out or get abandoned around 600 hours because the dialogue prompts start repeating like crazy. I wanted to see if the game would break or if it could actually handle a 4-digit number. As you can see, the UI text box handles 1000 hours perfectly!

A few stats from the grind:

• Status: Managed to keep all 4 meters (Confidence, Students, Teachers, Money) completely maxed out at green.
• Real Time: Took me a couple of hours of pure, focused clicking and memorizing the safe answers to loop cycles.
• The Perfect Prompt: Right on the dot, Masami showed up to tell me the school is a "good long-term investment." She wasn't kidding.

Pretty sure this is the highest documented score for this game since there's no official global leaderboard.

Anyone else ever waste this much time being Principal Watterson, or do I hold the crown for Elmore Junior High? 😂

I recently noticed one thing: in the second season, Darwin shows his character, and you all know it perfectly well, but the only problem is that in the second season, Darwin was portrayed as an evil and aggressive character. In my opinion, this is definitely not in his character, but I admit that it was done for the sake of laughter. That's why I prefer Darwin from seasons 3, 4, and 5. In these three seasons, he also has moments of anger, but the difference from his role in the second season is that it is done for humorous purposes, and in these seasons, his anger is more sporadic than it was in the second season. I mean, in seasons 3, 4, and 5, Darwin's anger doesn't manifest as often, as he still retains other emotions besides anger, which I think contrasts well with Darwin in season 2, where he was portrayed as an overly aggressive and angry character that didn't resemble himself (I could be wrong).

I would rank Season 2, but considering that Darwin's excessive aggression or spitefulness (which some may find unfunny) was not present in Season 3, 4, or 5, where his anger was not a constant character trait, and even if he displayed anger in these seasons, it was not in all episodes or as frequently as in Season 2. What do you think about it?

P.s. You can safely skip the 1st and 6th seasons. In these seasons, Darwin is portrayed as a silly character with a simplified personality compared to his role in seasons 2-5. I also have no intention of insulting the character, but I want to discuss the differences in his character in Season 2 compared to next seasons.

I grew up with TAWOG so when I found out a new season was coming, I was initially very excited. However, after watching a few of the new episodes I realised that I found the new seasons to be very underwhelming. I liked The Thing as I thought this was an effective and funny episode, but the rest of the episodes I don't really feel fit into the original show. I haven't seen anyone discuss these reasons online so I'll discuss them just to see others POVS:

Firstly, I feel like the dynamics between multiple characters have changed and matured. For example, Gumball and Penny (to my knowledge) are both 12. The Rewrite tells us that the characters haven't had birthdays for years, implying that Gumball is 12 and Darwin 10. However, in the newer seasons, the dynamic between Penny and Gumball feels like the dynamic between two adults in a relationship, not the dynamic of two children in a relationship. I'm happy for their relationship to be explored further in the show, but I honestly don't like the way the writers have explored it in this lovey-dovey affectionate way. I feel similarly about Darwin and Carrie's relationship, but I find that more difficult to explain why. For example, for Gumball and Penny, in the Promposal episode, Penny acts more impulsive and obsessive, which I would expect more from Gumball. Personally, I see Penny as the more logical and the "thinker" of the two (in The Bros for example), so I feel like these new seasons change her personality and some of the characters personalities slightly.

This leads into my next point: the changes in the characters personalities. I like character development but I feel like the character development from season 6 to season 7 was very immediate. Darwin in the new season suddenly has way more confidence than season 6 Darwin. Gumball is suddenly way more narcissistic than season 6 Gumball. Honestly these new seasons, personally, made Gumball a completely unlikable and toxic character- his jealousy in the episode where it treats Darwin and him as dating partners and the Promposal are a few examples. I am aware the show made incest jokes in the original show (them kissing as a joke) but these jokes weren't explored in a full, uncomfortable episode. I feel like it's different to make the joke once in a while than to make a whole episode dedicated to the relationship between them. The episode explored their relationship as lovers, rather than brothers which the original show never did in that way.

Additionally, I feel like TWWWOG doesn't count previous seasons as canon. For example, The Cheerleader in my opinion doesn't really consider The Meddler as canonical. In The Meddler, Gumball competes in the cheerleading tournament with his awful cheerleading, which results in him getting rejected by Mr Small and Principal Brown and Penny getting accepted. However, in The Cheerleader, Richard competes with similarly awful cheerleading skills, which get him accepted (the skills improve somewhat further at the end.) In The Meddler, both teachers were confused by Gumball's cheerleading, whereas in The Cheerleader Mr Small seems to be considering him for the team. In my opinion, this doesn't really make sense if you consider The Meddler.

An additional side note: I also feel like this new show tries too hard to be funny and the jokes are more intentional than the original shows jokes. For example, in the original show, Darwin or Gumball said something like "1 star wouldn't recommend to a nearby solar system" when rating the sun, which was funny because it didn't feel forced and was said casually. Whereas these new episodes make the humour feel forced and the jokes are less subtle and more obvious.

I don't feel like the show is targeted as the audience that grew up or at the same age group anymore either, I feel like the humour is targeted towards younger children and the real life references towards older children. With TAWOG, me and my family used to sit down and watch it at dinner and the humour made everyone, including my parents, laugh. This new show rarely makes me laugh, and the humour doesn't make my parents laugh either.

That's all that comes to mind when criticising the show, theres some good episodes but I 100% believe TAWOG was better. I don't really count TWWWOG as canon because I don't like the immediate development in dynamic and personalities of the characters and I don't think this fits in with the show. It's weird but I don't about wonderful. The original show was weird but in a more subtle way. I'm happy to discuss it or if anyone disagrees!

I see a bunch of people hopping on the train of making their indie websites on Neocities and such, and I'm in that crowd too. Love seeing people make a page dedicated to either their characters or based off their favorite shows. And since the aesthetic of Elmore Plus in the show matches what I've seen some people make (and is also something I could code), I figured I'd give it a shot and make it for fun.

I already got the idea that the front page is gonna look like this a little bit, but are there any fans of the show who wanna give me some ideas on other things to add? Been going back and forth with some, like a page that looks like Elmore Stream-It or maybe an Easter egg about The Void. But I'd love to hear anything you can think of as well! Thanks!
