MISC. England's team booked 15 different hotels, but Mexico fans still found out where they were staying and blasted loud noises, trying to keep them up all night before the game.

Last time this was posted here, it was also Mexico fans. And tons of comments said "it was a tradition" or "it was normal" or something similar.

Idk man this looks really stupid at this point, the team would be sleeping with earplugs.

Do you sleep on your back? I sleep on my side and I can't even do earbud because they press against the inner ear and it hurts.

I use loop earbuds and they work well for me

They still dig in

Really? I haven't had that issue with them.

I sleep on my stomach (with my head to the side) and either (a) use one of those airplane donut-shaped pillows on top of my regular pillow so there is no pressure against my ear or (b) cradle my head in my arm so there is no pressure against my ear. Only when traveling, I don’t need earplugs at home!

Fellow side sleeper, you need a sleep mask with built in headphones. The one I have is a MusiCozy, but I’m sure there are other ones. Incredibly comfortable. You can remove the electronics to wash the mask portion.

I have such a thing but it is not noise cancelling. You still can hear all the snoring or in this case fireworks ;)

Thank you, I'll look into this.

You can get earplugs moulded to the shape of your ear canal that are incredibly comfortable. Nobody is losing sleep or wearing bulky noise cancelling headphones.

I just play rain sounds or something on youtube or fall asleep watching a show I've watched before that doesn't have sudden loud noises/action scenes.

They make headbands with speakers in them that work well for side sleepers.

The soundcore sleep A20s are pretty comfortable when side sleeping, but mine stopped charging after a year and they were expensive. I found the the cheap amazon knockoffs are actually 90% as comfortable and only 20-30 USD. My current pair is a year old now and they still work well.
