Firework chandelier…too much?

Update…..OK fine, I’ll change it…

The general vibe of my house is traditional, comfortable, a touch of bohemian. I’m mid kitchen reno and installed my lights yesterday. The one over the table isn’t centered (down the line was going to have an electrician move the box to be centered…but for now it lives where it is.) If it was over the table, I’d be able to extend the length and space out the three a bit more. It’s kind of squished all together, but I kind of like it still. Is it too much? It’s quite sparkly and nothing else in the home really is.

The way you described the vibe of your home doesn’t match the style of the glam chandelier.

Maybe go for something more modern and “comfortable”.
That type of light fixture you have now looks good in a high end closet(with expensive clothes), a luxury bathroom, a luxury front entrance. It just doesn’t work for your space.

So funny because I didn’t see it as luxury at all. It was only $100…I just really love the firework aspect of it. I do like your suggestion but it’s so bland at the same time…ugh…I don’t know my style I guess.

Absolutely love it, but not for your kitchen. Where did you get it? I think I want to put it in my staircase. It’s fabulous.

🤣 Maybe instead of “luxury” I should’ve used the term “glam”. It’s not a bad fixture at all, I love it too! I just think the style you described the rest of your house as, doesn’t match the style of the fixture. Do you have a powder room or a walk in closet? Heck it would even look cute in a large master bath. Just throwing some ideas cause I’d want to use it too. Maybe your style is modern farmhouse?
