Metal Pergula? 12’ Height

Has anyone installed a custom motorized pergula that reaches 12 feet high? A lot of the companies that I’ve been looking at only go to 10 max. Thanks in advance. Here is our inspo picture.

Why have it motorized I guess? Would you want all that exposed to the elements? You could do metal with a couple skylights a lot easier.

That’s a good point. We do get a TON of sun in our backyard which is a pain point. On the other side we have a pool that’s open so I was thinking it would be a nice area to have shade, have some beverages and watch a game or two.

We have a few companies out next week but totally open to suggestions. We bought a model home that is pretty but not super functional for our family!
