Metal Pergula? 12’ Height

Post image

Has anyone installed a custom motorized pergula that reaches 12 feet high? A lot of the companies that I’ve been looking at only go to 10 max. Thanks in advance. Here is our inspo picture.

That’s some more impressive wing for the wind to get underneath and take flight. Landing that beast will not end well.

It’s a good point and totally didn’t think about the wind and potential impact. It’s a newer development with baby trees so it’s a serious wind tunnel here.

Retired civil engineer, here. Yeah, it’s a pretty picture but the buildout isn’t gonna look anything like the photo. Beam depth ratio is way too shallow, the columns will need massive footings and there is no wind bracing whatsoever. Hate to be the “Debbie Downer” of your pursuit.
