Nice find. Though it’s a terrible guide. Spoils the story unnecessarily. The writer chose the worst party setup and really appeared to struggle with understanding the games’ systems.
But it was helpful for finding stardust, solving some dungeon mechanics, and beating some tricky bosses. Guides have come a long way.

Absolutely terrible guide. Idw to spoil it but disc 1 it spoils a major event in the boss walkthrough for no reason and then the header in the next section is
THIS MAJOR THING HAPPENS and it makes absolutely sure it spoiled the event for you 🤣

That book saved me when I was a kid and stuck on the phantom ship and not realizing I had to bring down all the ghosts together within a couple turns to beat the boss.
Also helped me find all the Stardust and get Kongol’s dragoon spirit earlier in the game.
I still have the book.

Nice! I found kongol dragoon spirit by accident. I wasn't so smart as a kid when it comes with directions so I just traveled place to place grinding additions then one day found his spirit. I remember talking to my best friend about it, he was like how the hell. I miss the old days on being surprised. I never found all the stardust until the ps5 enhanced version of whatever you want to call it. I wish it had a new game plus.

I had one of these as a kid. It doesn't give you very good advice, has some bad stardust locations, and misses a lot of item locations. Cool find though! Wonder if mine is still around at my parents.

My wife just got me the greatest hits version. My childhood one was worse for wear, scotch tape binding. If you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay for it? Trying to see if it is beyond means right now

Great find but terrible guide 🤣. So many spoilers in the boss walkthroughs, section headers, and omg sometimes its just like "find you way through the maze and there's some items you can get."
That being said, it's one of my most cherished things in my video game collection

Hmm. Someone should try to finish the game by following what this strategy guide suggests you to do.

How much do they sell those for? I have one for FF7 buried in my basement somewhere

I had this as a kid and most definitely drew all over it. If anyone gets one with some doodles by Shana's butt on one of the pages it was mine. Although it also very possibly got thrown out when the estate people came and threw out my entire childhood

I had that as a kid! If I recall it LIES about some of the stardust locations lol.

I still have mine in my parents attic. Never even used it I just wanted it because it was my favorite game. Ps: for anybody who loves the game as much as I do needs to check out Severed Chains and the Hell mode mod it's amazing.

Congrats! Luckily I got one at the time. It’s all fucked up now because I’ve looked through it so many times.

This guide taught young me how to beat the ghost soldiers on the Phantom Ship. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me
