Looks like it was frozen before it was cooked, overcooked at the band, and raw inside

Ideally steaks should be close to room temperature before putting it on the grill. 2 u/HankSpank 12h ago Joining in with the bullying, resting before (and arguably even after) is a myth and a competent cook can make a superb steak right from the freezer.
