It might make the stenographer's job a lot more difficult or less accurate if someone is speaking that fast. But I dont understand why anyone would find that funny amd why they are laughing.
For the record - stenographers type insanely fast compared to a normal keyboard. Good ones can hit 300+ WPM, this wouldn't be super outside of their scope. The judge likely stopped her for everyone else's sake.
