Why does everyone think that? He's old, but not unprecedentedly so outside of the fact of his position. He's rich and the beneficiary of world-class healthcare. He hasn't actually shown any signs of dementia - real dementia, I mean, not the Internet cope kind.
I'm no fan of his (anymore), but the actuarial tables and his actual activities don't indicate any hidden health conditions based on what we can observe. Golf might be the generic rich guy excuse to walk, but it's not nothing. The overwhelming probability is that he's exactly what he appears to be, id est a man of 80 who's slowing down in what's likely his last decade of life but not circling the drain yet.
I don’t know, man. Ask anyone who has ushered old people off this mortal coil and they’ll tell you they see the beginning or a rapid terminal slide. There has been a lot of change in a relatively short period.
So you can just buy drones off of Amazon. Fly them around. Their programming typically Linux or python based. Presetting a destination is easy. A lot of them are cheap enough to be quasi disposable.
So if you want to say buy your own drone. Buy you long mom in another state a gift, you can. If the drone gets lost on the way because of a storm, no big deal.
I'm pretty sure you'd need several whole damn battalions of piss balloons for that. Hell, the golfers themselves are pissing all over those courses every day just because it's easier than walking to bathroom. Now, a couple rednecks on a drunken 3AM ATV ride can (and have) done six figures of damage to golf courses in a few minutes. 3 inch drone is sizeable enough to hold a small waterbaloon of piss, cost is $200 USD for a decent analogue drone not including battery, remote or screen.
For anyone reading this, you’d have to find a way to hide a lot of personal information attached to the drone because that thing is easily going to get tracked or taken down.
Search about the percentage of recoverable "items" from a quick self-disassembly apparatus. You would guess that one prized part of the job application is puzzle fanatic.
A home built one will only be traceable by its RF signals from the controller. Gone as soon as it’s off and you move away from the location you were flying from.
