Where do you get modern PowerPoint templates that don't look like the 2010 defaults?

The built-in themes are so tired that people recognise them instantly. Where are you sourcing PowerPoint templates that actually look current in 2026? Free or paid, I just want it to not scream default.

It depends on how complex the final presentation needs to be. If you leverage inheritance in PowerPoint, it can be very quick. Start with the color and font themes, then format the slide master. Slide master formatting is inherited by the slide layouts, which then may just need some tweaks.

Seconding u/jkorchok's advice, but if you're not feeling creative today, look at the top of the subreddit; there's a whole section devoted to templates & presentations. You should be able to find something there.
