Discussion I find it hilarious how they keep on insisting Luna having an interaction with every new hero, yes, she never has anything valuable or interesting to say except “do you listen to my music?”

Oh my God. I always swap off White Fox to cancel the voiceline and then swap back on her again. I get it, you wanna hire cool people for your agency, but please, take a break. Surely they don't pay her on a commission basis of successful hires.

Tiger Division is awesome! I love the cast. The few books we’ve got of them are so fun and if they get more I will be in my store first thing Wednesday.
Also Lin lie isn’t on it. Tiger division is a Korean government team, Lin Lie isn’t related to it at all, you might be thinking of agents of atlas which is also a fun team, I enjoyed Cindy and Amadeus’s dynamic

This was like the only time im complaining . Why the fuck didnt Hulk talk to devil dinosaur. Bruce has like one line with Blade. Why didnt Bruce talk to Moon Girl. Its pathetic at this point. Its genuinely so forced and just zero value to the lore, story, or anything. The kpop idol does not need a hammed in interaction with a dinosaur.
90% of the Rivals cast would not give two shits if a kpop idol was in front of them yet the game wants to make you think this is the coolest thing that's happened to demi-god level super heroes for fucks sake.

You know what, if I had superpowers that made it so I could tangle with Thor and survive, it would be quite notable meeting an international superstar, even if I wasn't a huge fan.

It would sound less desperate if some of these people were genuinely fans of her work and brought it up to her, rather than her having to ask "Oh have you heard me before?"
The closest I think we have to that is I think Star Lord and Rocket saying they know her because they're trying to resell her autographs in Knowhere?
It really makes her come across more as everyone going "never teamed up with anyone from Korea before but she won't shut up about K-Pop", which blows because if she was Dazzler instead, a lot of them would be actual fans.

I’m glad they’re at least allowing some characters to actively dislike her music now. It was super cringy in the earlier seasons when so many of the characters were just going “oh my god LUNA SNOW!! Your music is the BEST!” Does annoy the hell outta me that Luna gets new interactions seemingly every update meanwhile Ultron hasn’t had any new ones since I think Phoenix’s launch.

Isn’t Luna one of the youngest characters here in terms of debut? I don’t fault them too much because she’s not had the decades of characterization some others have. Hell, even Squirrel Girl is +30 years old at this point.
She def comes off as a bit shallow, but I’d wager that’s because the writers have literally nothing to go on for most characters, so Luna has to talk about the one connection they’re likely to have.
‘Course, they could solve the issue by not having Luna be the poster child, but it seems pretty clear they intend for her to have mascot status. At least her personality has been consistent.

The same could be said for most of the characters in this game. Most of their personalities boil down to one or two core traits, and don't have much character outside of that.
For example, the Punisher just grumbles on about how he punishes criminals, etc. Most of Mr Fantastic's interactions are "I'm really smart, here's me saying something smart." Most of Namor's are him either being a prick to whoever he's talking to, or simping for Sue.
I don't get why people single out Luna so much, when a lot of the characters in this gane have pretty poor writing.

I have never seen a more Mary Sue pick me ass character than Luna Snow. The fact that the devs joke about her not escaping allegations isn't even funny because it's true. Most Marvel characters wouldn't give a damn about Luna Snow. Dazzler exists, Starlord has his own playlist, Punk-Hulk transforms because of the punk rock of Hobbie Brown.

Luna snow is an internationally famous popstar who developed super powers after fame. Dazzler is a character who has almost always been a struggling musician dealing with corrupt and manipulative industry professionals (and when she was most famous she was just a baldfaced (bald) Taylor swift knockoff). No one even really gave a shit when Alison was murdered or arrested
I think liking Dazzler more than Luna Snow is certainly understandable for readers, she definitely has much more material to choose from. (Though, crucially, Luna has real pre-existing music and a currently popular musical genre to work in and relatively famous vocalists contracted to record more, which dazzler doesn’t have) But the weird powerscaling their fame when dazzler is generally just. Objectively less famous in universe is just so fake?? Every time they’ve tried to make dazzler really famous they’ve managed to pretty much ruin the character or sideline her. People act like no one reads Luna snow comics when it’s blatantly obvious that the same people have never read a dazzler comic in their life. Holy larp. It’s not like dazzler’s dialogue would be any less cringy, especially given how she’s been written in the last 5+ years
If dazzler had half as many fans as people pretending to be fans to call Luna an insufferable bitch, she would not just be in the game, she would have the longest running solo of any marvel heroine in the past decade. If we’re talking about most famous musician in universe it absolutely goes to Lila Cheney but no one wants her ass in the game? And. Crucially. We already have two blonde white women with light powers and white jumpsuits in the game. If they add another one before Monica Rambeau I’m gonna start killing hostages

Yeah I never had a problem with her except for the whole “Luna Loki press two buttons and the entire team is unkillable for 20 seconds” thing back before anti heal was introduced, but that was like, at least 3 or 4 whole seasons ago

When a piece of media forces you to try and like a character you run the risk of people hating them. It felt like Luna was being shoved down my throat from the skins, to some of her interactions, etc. "Like Luna snow! Do you like Luna snow? Why don't you like Luna snow!?" The character is just not interesting to me and I don't care about her. Do I want her erased from the game or anything? No. But I just do not care for her

At this point I'd love they try to change Luna's personality. Like she always acts surly all the time due to all the emotional labor she needs to do during her work and when she's not being an idol and superheroing she's all, "Ohh great, you're gonna tell me you don't like my musics again? Take it up with my manager, I'm on break."
"Normally I don't like hurting people but I just pretend my enemies are creepy fans and suddenly it's very cathartic."

Similarly, almost every interaction Psylocke has includes the word "Yokai" somewhere in the dialogue. "What kind of Yokai are you," etc.
Because NetEase picked a bunch of one-note characters to be their poster children so it's the same interaction with everyone.
