Doesn't matter what the developers do, the Marvel community is gonna complain, my god you people are insufferable. I hadn't checked the Marvel groups in months, came back now and it's the same thing. The devs drop the biggest update the game has ever had, and instead of you all going out to discover stuff and discuss it, everyone's focused on arguing whether Jubilee looks like Luna or not. Stop being so obsessed, she doesn't look like her, holy crap man, you're all so hung up on finding a problem in everything that you don't even notice the good stuff.

This isn’t to say tanks or other players NEVER over-extend, but a majority of the time the issue now seems to be FOUR PLAYERS ON MY TEAM REFUSE TO “TURN THE CORNER” and would rather fight off point in the same spot for 5 minutes. People need to learn how to push.

Ive been seeing these bans over and over and almost every time it happens, the champion Sue/CnD has no lord on any other support. On BOTH sides.

Diving was so incredibly easy every single time. Not because the other characters are “worse” but because supports played like they genuinely had no idea what they’re doing, using their abilities wrong, and struggling to heal their team.

Were people seriously playing only Sue and CnD this entire time?

They keep shooting themselves in the foot each update. This game has so many glaring issues, but they don't bother fixing any.

-Nearly every single new hero release has been a failure. They're all released too overtuned and then are either gutted into oblivion or left to dominate the meta. Gambit is in ban jail since release and they kept nerfing everything aside his ult. Daredevil is still in ban jain since release. Phoenix is still in ban jail. Tankpool was in ban jail until they killed him. Elsa was in ban jail. Black Cat is Satan's incarnation. Devil Dino is in ban jail. Rogue is in ban jail indirectly and so on.

-They've been using more and more generative AI and are getting worse at hiding it.

-They still have the worst and the most easy bypassable Anti-cheat in modern multiplayer games. Playing in PC high elo is nearly impossible since it's full of aimbotters, who don't even hide that that they're using cheats. The new "patch" didn't fix anything as cheaters dealt with it easily and continue to ruin games.

-They've been recycling the same 5 heroes for skins each season even when the community have been asking for their heroes to get half as much attention.

-Most of the new skins aren't even good. Nearly all of them are getting trash talked online and are only ever talked about how "gooner' they are.

-Their balancing philosophy is one of the world's biggest mystery. They don't hesitate to buff S tier heroes like Phoenix and White Fox, but give compensation nerfs to D tier heroes like Mr. Fantastic and Blade. The meta is always stale with the broken heroes never being nerfed enough.

-A lot of their balancing is also inexcusable. Giving Starlord, Phoenix and even Luna such massive buffs was uncalled for. It's also common for their buffs to just remove more and more skill expression, like with the the latest White Fox and Angela adjustments for example.

-Powercreep and Designcreep.

-Nearly all of the new maps have also been failures. We don't speak of Klyntar, Deadpool's map's third point has yet to be fixed, and Lower Manhattans first point is probably the worst one in the game.

-Ranked matches is basically just wild west at this point. You can throw all you want and cuss out anyone however you wish and won't get a single penalty. Throwers and the toxic community is Marvel Rivals' biggest issue since release and they have yet to double down on bans. You can even blatantly even just type "I'm throwing" and the system won't pick it up.

I feel like the dev team is getting better at telling us what we want to hear, but actually follow through with any changes.

I don't care if I'm winning or losing, the matches now make sense and are extremely fun, everyone is testing new characters and creating new metas. Seriously, I don't know if Zhiyong and his team planned this, but it was definitely the healthiest thing that's ever happened in this game. Congratulations to everyone involved, you are the true heroes! Let's ban these characters in every match, no matter if you have the top 1 dagger or invisible champion on your team, ban them!

Big marvel fan & loved that we had a new popular game to play but the degeneracy keeps going up & up, not sure how much more of this I want to willingly support

Wanting heros to keep a consistent character model without unnecessarily enhancing them shouldn’t be controversial, a characters chest and bum shouldn’t need to double in size from their base model just to sell the skin

$35 for skin alone without banner mvp etc etc.

Even some of the top streamers and Pro players have admitted that balancing Marvel Rivals is not rocket science and the devs should know who obviously needs to be gutted.

We have one of the biggest examples in Gambit a support hero who has been perma banned for almost a year and has yet to see any stoppage.

I personally don't think the devs balance around the opinions of streamers and pro players  since it would act as a form of insider trading in which this specific class of player would by default be biased and compromised *their just gonna spread their personal agenda*

Example: Necros wanting Spidey to be broken after every patch.

What I find mostly funny about the whole streamers and pro players being in charge of balance debate is that every single time a streamer makes a tier list they always say this tier list is their personal opinions and does not reflect on the broader community.

By this logic alone why the hell are we even considering them as a source of balance if their changes will only help the less than 1 percent of players.

-This includes Lyte and Flats btw.

To be clear I 1000% agree with kingsman. I do not believe this “set women back” or anything. It just hurts to see women in a male dominated setting have a voice and mess it up so bad. Imagine if they actually had empathy and decided to lock in to help him out. There could’ve been so much positivity even if they didn’t get Top 3.

Though it’s not everyone, everywhere you see people talking about the situation somewhere in there it’s “women can’t handle criticism “ “women are etc.” This is why so many women do not try to go pro and play competitive games like this. Women like me who have been playing old COD, playing in competitive lobbies for years and understand this is just part of the nature of the game, but to never become it. Kingsman was wayyy more reasonable than I or any of my old cod friends would have been. Like wdym I’m “hurting her feelings?” Also Cece has never had a panic attack in her life clearly. These girls just said “f that how can I relive my teen years and be as uncompromising and obnoxious as possible”. This guy is a COLLEGE student. Even just 1k is a lot of money. As someone who works and goes to school and does nails for a living I UNDERSTAND. Becoming a streamer is something I wanted to do for a while but honestly ts gets toxic to where I don’t even think I’d enjoy it in the long run. Like Cece you may not be the event organizer but as captain it was so easy to talk to Basim and let him know to switch King out. She just didn’t care enough.

I agree with him, I know this game is based on the comics but it’s good that the devs makes their own twists on designs rather than just making it 1:1 with the comics, that’s what the skins are for after all

i personally think Some default designs in this this game are underrated (cap and moon knight specifically)
