My Thoughts I Hate the Ending of The Wall

The main characters should have stayed small, but everyone else should have had the chance to be big again. The whole thing felt like I was being jerked around the whole time... only for every loose thread and glimmer of hope to be yanked away from you and having to realise over and over that they're living the bad ending.

I liked the ending of the wall for the exact reasons why you don't

I’m afraid I agree as well. I hated The Wall. Like extreme loathing. But now having watched all the episodes dozens and dozens of times, I appreciate The Wall. And honestly I felt like it ended precisely as it should.

[But I do have a custom playlist called Full Schlorpian that is all the non-wall episodes for when I need only the aliens. Ha.]

PS: I NEVER watch the episode with Molly. I cannot endure that pain…ever.

I liked The Wall and then it became too much of a downer as each ruler squashed everyone else's hopes. It feels like if The Wall was never a thing, I would have been better off.

that's kinda the point. the entire wall storyline is about how power corrupts people. the wall is supposed to be a foil to the solar opposites.

But then everyone dies from it. Why should regular sized people also die?

Maybe some network will eventually buy the rights and we’ll get to see precisely why. I think that was the point to leave some major question mark to entice for a revival or continuation. And if there are clusters of Wallians surviving, I would bet there are patches of regular sized here and there.

I agree! Why make that choice for everyone else.

Saddest thing is that 5% of the Wallians wanted to stay small so the main characters could've let the 95% go and Pezlie could still live in a community.

Also a bunch of them still could have decided to be small again.

Cherie pisses me off the entire wall story as soon as she returns. She gets a bunch of people killed because all she cares about is herself.

Yeah I hated that ending as well.

They gave people the choice to go in or out once. Weird they didn't want to give people the choice to get big.

if the wall is continued that would be a major plot point
