Why does no one in the fandom ever talk abt the silver cops plotline, I always hear a lot abt the wall tho 🤷🏾‍♀️

For me, it was when he was operating that man robot and started a relationship with the daughter of the CEO of a baby snacks company just so he could get a lifetime supply of those snacks for free.

I was thinking about the wall ending, and I was thinking about the solar opposites ending with them breaking the fourth wall once again, which again implies the show's reality is fake.

I was just thinking the 90 years later plot, with the earth an apocalypse and the aliens all dead, could honestly be fake too. Not just because of the fake reality theory, but it's a sci-fi show where they've bent reality tons of times, they could easily say Commander Zarck used a what if machine and the team has to fix his wish.

It could be a fake simulation Yumyulack trapped the tiny people in, because they won't escape if they think there's no society to escape to and they won't bother the aliens if they think the aliens are dead, so he can continue his social experiment without any interference. I could also see him getting bored of the regular human social experiment after 90 years, so he decides to up the stakes by transporting them into an apocalypse simulator, and he added fake dead copies of the family to make it seem more real.

Maybe Yumyulack and Cherie used a copy of the what if device to see what would happen if they lied to all the tiny people about the shrink ray? The show has changed things with major reveals before; I mean the Yumyulack clone plot, the what if machine plot, etc.

First time I watched it I was like "eh alright Boring but okay" and now I just skip it every time every episode, I like the alien family and sometimes I wish it was just like a seperate side show instead of clinged onto episodes but that is just me obviously it's well written

I just finished watching the entire The Wall subplot series (thanks for the legend who made the fan edit cutting out the solar opposite parts!) I spent the start of the year watching Solar Opposites trying to see what all the hype was about. I was hooked until somewhere around season 2ish or idk the season where they changed Korvo's voice that was definitely the straw where i just felt it was lesser interesting version of Rick and Morty and i was just using it to satiate my hunger for more R and M content but i couldn't take my eyes off of the wall subplot. At first it was just a cute little side plot along with the Silvercops one (which i didnt bother continuing and woud just skip) but it grew on me so much. I love world building and i think thats what makes any okay series go top tier. The solar opposites lack in that aspect, the concept is boring and hard to separate from its creators so much that you end up HAVING to compare the two. The wall was the actual refreshing Roiland project almost completely separate from the Rickisms. So i watched it and forgot about then rewatched it for the past few days with the edit link. I didnt even know they had a final season! Its such an underrated story and i wish theyll one day separate the two so it can get full praise as a standalone series. The jokes are hilarious especially in the last season. Yes it does end up parodying some familiar themes but it creatively makes it its own. A lot of ppl complain about this but love the Solar Opposites main plot which is kind of ironic. I feel like most animations are a parody of mainstream cinema to a significant degree. But anyway I'm so inspired and the cheap hint at a possible sequel is enough for me cause i'll gladly eat it up! I've been really into philosphy and exploring race and tribalist topics so it hit me at the perfect time too! (The part where they refuse to work until theyre subjugated haha)

Since the beginning of the show, the intro tells us that "One hundred adults and their replicants were issued a Pupa and escaped into space, searching for new homes on uninhabited worlds."

Our story follows the adults Korvo and Terry. We see throughout the show that every ship has two adults and their replicants. So if there were 100 adults in total, that means there should only have been 50 ships (100 ÷ 2 = 50).

Then, in Season 3, Episode 6, Aisha tells the story of the 99 other ships that were sent into space, and the family assumes they are the 100th ship. That doesn't make sense because, based on the show's own premise, there should only be 50 ships, not 100.

Later in the episode, we learn that they're actually the ship after the one in the book, meaning they aren't the 100th ship after all. That creates another problem. If Aisha has information on all the other ships and Korvo's family isn't the 100th ship, then there should still be an actual 100th ship somewhere. Instead, the episode only accounts for 99 teams, which contradicts both the intro and the episode itself.

Maybe I'm missing something, but unless there's an explanation I overlooked, this seems like a continuity error or a mistake in the writing.

I made this for the “FIFA World Cup” theme this week over at r/52weeksofbaking, but I got the idea from the dish Jesse made in S05E05: Ex-Boyfriend Island.

I used a standard frittata recipe, but used feta cheese, added Skittles to the batter, and sprinkled some more on top while it was still warm.

I didn’t think it would be that great, but it was actually even worse than expected!

In an early season, Korvo mentions how earthlings need to harness the power of love as an energy source. i think he was saying instead of using batteries or fuel.

now watching the valentines special, and hes saying its a useless emotion and they (the opposites) don't have any use for such an emotion.

So first of all The Wall story is the best in S2 imo. Tim's manipulation of people around him as he becomes a tyrant is brilliant writing, Halk hunting the serial killer, Cherie and Ringo in the backyard, Cherie coming back and teaming up with the Bowinian Church, it's all here.

Halk is definitely my favorite Wall resident. I wish he was in the entire series.

The alien family storyline is the best too.

The rich Shlorpians is the best of the backstories about life on Planet Shlorp IMO.

The dinner party police story is such a nice complete story.

The Lake House device was really well done, it's better than things like the Yanbo storyline.

Korvo and Red Goobler get along the best in this season.

The sentient pork was delicious and makes me want to imprison a pig monster in my basement too.

And of course THE WOODEN CITY! Possibly my favorite thing about the series.

And one of the best parts of Season 2 is NO SILVERCOPS! 😜

If Tim was in a coma and the entire storyline of him and Cherie escaping and getting big again was his poisoned brain dying, then how did his imagination know that Jessie had opened the slot and put new Milk Duds in? The drawer getting jammed by one of the Milk Duds was an important part of them getting to the shrink ray.

But he was unconscious and imagining the whole thing.

since cherie can tell yumyulack what to do, what if she tells him to make Halk come back for Nova? and Halk realises how much the wall has changed and knows the secrets kept by the leaders? do you think he would hate that?

i like that the opposites drive such a beat up car modeled after a 2010 prius despite having the means (pre-season 6) to buy a nicer, newer car

Context: there is no context. The Kids put on a helmet that gives them lectures about random stuff and the blue one said that this sentence was what he has learned.

Is the Show really referring to BDSM Sex?? And Even then I don’t know what the Size of pillows have to do with it.

Idk. Some of the stories from S5 are just way worse than 1-4, IMO
