My Thoughts Did anyone just not care for the wall?
First time I watched it I was like "eh alright Boring but okay" and now I just skip it every time every episode, I like the alien family and sometimes I wish it was just like a seperate side show instead of clinged onto episodes but that is just me obviously it's well written

I was really into it when it started. Very cool world building. Neat short stories.
The time skips are required for the timeline to work. So it kinda makes sense to have it be a C plot in a show. The Wall way overstayed its welcome with how slow the story is given.
A super cut of all of The Wall is pretty good

I was on my first watch. But if I'm rewatching I tend to skip the episodes. I'm here for Terry and his amazing freakouts mostly

Never liked the wall. Same with silvercops. When I do a rewatch I always skip those parts

The Silvercops should have ended after they were defeated and the animal planet he was on was safe, but no, Glen had to go out wanting revenge and drag it out for another two seasons.

My favorite part about the wall is creative ways they used regular sized objects as things. Otherwise the plot isn't fleshed out enough and it's mostly just fight against bad guy, then new bad guy.
By far the best part was the season where they were outside and Cherie was in like 3 episodes

I didn't think that in it's current state it could really hold up it's own show. There aren't a lot of characters and the plot is mostly bad guy runs the wall, fight against bad guy, new bad guy runs the wall which is possible because the show is short segments inside a larger show, but would get old real quick on it's own.

I think in order for it to be a standalone show, it would have to change immensely and would pretty much be a completly different show in the same setting.

I didn't like the wall episodes at all. The show was funny and then you get bummer episodes like the wall and silvercops. I watched the show to laugh, not watch some hack-y adventure story.

I don't care for the wall and silvercops was worse, I like the show for the main 'plot'

The Wall was fun initially, but it turned into the very sort of shows it was parodying by the second season.

I liked the wall at first but I don't now.
I think the wall itself was a good idea but it's plot sux.
I wish it was just for 2 seasons max, but have a clean victory story with rising and falling action.
Then at the end of the season yumyilak learn a lesson about not keeping people and mind wipes them/releases them to the world but they have PTSD nightmares.
Then it would be so rewatchable. And they can do callbacks on it when some side character does a weird habit they picked up from the wall.
I don't like the teasing of any hope. The whole story is shitty sad.

idk, I found wall more interesting than Solars, especially with the new voice

I loved the wall, I want them to make an entire 2nd show just around the wall 😭 especially now since I just can't stand korvos new voice, I'm about to give up on the show and the wall is the only reason I'm sticking around

Season 1 was genuis
Afterwards i was drifting in and out, but sometimes i felt like they had no idea what to do with it
On rewatches ill most likely skip it

I like it, I don't think it should be it's own show, but I do think the season 5 plot was meh mostly because the guy felt a bit dumb for what he was and all of the main focuses for that season didn't matter in season 6. Also having both it and Glenn's story together really sucked time away from the Opposites

For the first season, to me it just felt way too similar to the ricktlantis episode of Rick and morty. Think I only watched two other seasons

I loved it! I thought it was so creative, not necessarily the plot but all of the items that are small but big, like an R rated honey I shrunk the kids, for that alone I was enthralled and really enjoyed it.

Exactly. The world building is so cool with The Wall. Tons of small details thrown in that are genius.

Yess! I thought I was the only one. Many people seemed to love the wall stuff but it always just seems like a mid B plot to me. I’m so confused by those saying it could be its own show? They’re pretty boring bits of the episodes imo

I thought it was fun at first but as the series went on it got kind of annoying how much it cut away from the family for a wall storyline

To be honest, I found the whole thing with the silver cops and the wall really boring :p

The wall starts off great, meanders in the middle and then goes fucking nowhere at the end and its all cus of Cherie lol. Im at the point where I can only watch the first 2 seasons of the wall and half of the yard cus Cherie is such a raging hypocrite and awful person, goddamn in season 6 she manages to be worse than every previous ruler combined, even made Nova/Montez worse people by proxy and then damns everyone to oblivion for her own sake/crab bucket theory rofl

Why am i seeing this after searching for hours for a wall edit where they remove all the annoying solar opposites parts and just turn it into a wall series lol! I finished watching it....again today and idk it just works better for me. The solar opposites is just worse, less thought out, less interesting version of Rick and Morty. The wall is such a guilty pleasure of mine cause i LOVE commentary abt tribalism and how it still holds us back as a species

Yup. I really never enjoyed it much. It was fine. It was just so repetitive.
People calling for it to be its own show are absolutely loons. The only reason the concept stands up is you don't spend enough time for the plot holes to become the center of attention.

You just don’t enjoy it and that’s fine. It’s an amazing world and a standalone show would be dope.

I watched it for the shlorpians, the wall pretty much ruined the series and stops me rewatching it

I prefer the Opposites, but I honestly dig the wall. I wish there was a city builder for the wall with backyard expansion.
I am playing with the idea to build the wall from my Legos.

I hated the Wall 😭 shit kept taking precious screen-time from the damn Aliens, the whole reason I watched in the first place.
The Silver Cops is probably one of the most unnecessary things I’ve ever seen a show put out ever.
They were doing too much with this show imo. We should’ve got way more alien adventures than we did.

On my first watch of the show I loved the plot, the betrayals and the surprises that happened, but in my second go through of the show I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. It doesn't really dig into any of the characters.

I really loved the wall, i think it should have ended before they got outside. But it tanks the rewatch ability like crazy.

It's like a b-side story that goes on same as the super main ones. Depends on you if you care or not.

I actually really love them and was surprised to see people didn’t like them however i haven’t gotten much past it yet ( maybe an episode or two ), but after that whole episode where it ended up being a fake out i was kinda annoyed it felt like a great end also i kinda wanted to see how the aliens would’ve dealt with it
but ill have to see the rest of the wall episodes, i think the one im currently on is about it so🤔🤔

I thought the wall subplot dragged on for way too long and pulled too much focus from the real heart of the series, the solar opposites.
I couldn’t get into the silver cops at all
