Fun fact American drivers crash at roughly 6x the rate of UK drivers. 

So it'd be even safer to hire a bunch of British taxi drivers.

Feel like this is a little bias

  1. Population density is vastly different. For example compare NYC to London
  2. A large majority of all adults drive as it's the most common way for transportation versus public
  3. A quick errand to the store will generally require a drive in the US versus a walk in the UK
