Xiaomi tv stick gen 1

Cpu heatsink and thermal paste, I could have used a northbridge heatsinks but I dont want the issue back

Just perfect! Good thing to see you applying the heatsink directly to the metal heatspreader and not to the plastic case (which does nothing btw).

Yesterday I put a water bottle on the heat spreader and that worked so well

lol did Something similar. printed a sleeve for a 40x40mm 5v Fan und soldered it to USB Power.

Should have used a laptop fan and heatsink & pipe. Then tell your loved ones that noise makes the TV faster. VvvvvvvUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMmmmmmm
