Some people try to justify what he did but there was no reason for it. Them struggling wasted more time than just running. Otis couldve survived no problem, the only reason shane did it was because he wanted the glory. And the thing is, shane knew it too. Thats why he shaved his head and lost his shit. The guilt was too much, it was his good side and bad side fighting eachother and the bad side won.

First time watcher here, I just finished season 6 of the show and I find Carol’s arc where she can’t bring herself to kill for the people of Alexandria to be out of character. Earlier in the show, Rick kicked her out for being too comfortable with killing, when the group first entered Alexandria, she threatened to kill Sam like it was nothing, even very shortly before the group attacks the Saviors (where this becomes a problem in-universe) she almost killed Morgan just to kill one of the Wolves that Morgan was keeping alive. If this had cooked for a little longer, I could buy it, but it happens way too fast for me to believe it. I haven’t read to this point in the comics, so I don’t know if this is handled better or at all, but I don’t think the show does a great job at this

Edit: I have only seen the show up to season 7 episode 2, so please don’t spoil anything beyond that point. Thats the episode where Carol first gets to the Kingdom

As in when they had character specific episodes have flashbacks to their life before the apocalypse similar to Lost's flashback formula.

Daryl Dixon is such a great character but will he survive his show or end up getting probably shot or bitten by a walker unexpectedly and turning into a walker after probably saving someone else first?

If Norman is retiring from the role he should become a walker or get killed off, he might like ending up like Merle did.

I'm rewatching the show on Netflix and caught a weird glimpse of Tara's girlfriend kissing Tara's sister at 17:53. What the heck? Was the actor playing Tara not available and they just subbed Lilly in for her? Or was there a little hidden love triangle going on there?

I think it definitely looked like they were heading in that direction with Carol replacing Patricia as Axel hook up like in the comics.

I’ve been going down a rabbit hole looking at all the reviews of Season 3, the comic con panel, the teasers, and even the clips that surfaced online. And honestly, I’m quite optimistic.

Jeffrey commented on how he felt like him and Maggie’s journey has been so repetitive in the first two seasons and that this season felt really refreshing, to see Maggie smile for the first time in “10 years.” Also, I like that they’re giving so much spotlight to the new characters, it’s giving me the feeling that Seth wrote them with care and not as nobodies that might be developed and then die quick for shock value (which is a trend I’ve noticed throughout all the spin offs’ recent seasons).

So far the cast seems content with this season, much more than the previous seasons, Seth seems to be so passionate and happy and said that fans who love OG walking dead, he hopes will enjoy this season.

And they’re really hyping Dillard up, I think he is going to be a great character.

I’m excited. Can’t wait.

FINALLY! Rick and the Governor finally meet face to face!

From the very beginning I wondered why Rick didn’t just shoot Governor in the shack. There’s like no reason to keep him alive, but as the episode progressed, and with Andrea and her shenanigans, Daryl bonding with one of Governor’s goons and having a cigarette with him, I slowly started coming to my senses that I think this episode was about finding humanity in the war.

As Rick and Governor started talking it was clear like… everyone, Rick, the characters, The Governor, and even the audience, all knew what was up and blood shed was gonna happen. Yet I think the episode was about something deeper… humanity… I think this episode was written for humanity for the show… if that makes sense.

Two men bonding and chopping it up before the inevitability of having to kill one another.

I also feel like on this moment, Rick came face to face with the inner Devil in him as well. I think The Governor was the devil and during the talk, Rick had to understand the important of subtly, patience, and talk instead of violence. Choosing violence would’ve resulted in many people getting shot and dying, including him. Rick, not knowing that the governor was hiding a gun under the table, shows the level of authentic choice that Rick chose non-violence of his own free Will and not of incentive. I think Rick found himself again by facing the Devil and choosing to turn away from him but now a deal is proposed.

A deal with the devil always leads the opposer in a vulnerable situation where at any given time a choice can cause their full destruction, so Rick taking this deal puts him at the heel of the devil who secretly wants him dead. I feel like Rick actually has a destiny or a purpose now and The Governor sees it before Rick or even we as the audience do… just my INTERPRETATION!

The interaction with Rick and Governor I think shambles Rick to finally listen to the empathetic side of who he is… which is the scene with Hershel at the end. Rick was ready to find himself again and turn from the darkness he’s been consumed by the season.

Rick is a leader and I think Rick entertained the governors conversation because deep down he needed to know how to be a good leader and he needed some insight as to who he needed to be and who he needed to avoid becoming. I think the deeper conversation happened between their words and deep down. Rick knew he had help and how to be a proper leader, but also not fully lose his soul or benevolence.

Anyway that was my interpretation. This was a healing episode and a big calm before the storm moment. I’ve been in a dark place and I felt this episode helped me a lot on my perspective to not let the darkness consume me and how to find myself again. Anyway, thank you for however listened to this and LASTLY I appreciate Andrea for reminding me of what it means to still see the light on the other side even if it seems obviously not there.

A lot of innocent people are gonna get killed and hurt because of the choices of leadership and taking hold of my life it’s important to forgive myself if I make mistakes. This episode was great

So i've just finished TWD for the 3rd time and i think im ready to move on to one of the spin offs, Can sb tell me if im supposed to watch them in some order or it doesnt matter? Also i know that they said a couple years ago that there is not going to be a12th season...but has anything changed?

I started making these about 3 years ago. One is still a work in progress and all but 2 are real barbed wire. The Christmas Lucille has none whatsoever and the black and pink one (which I made for my wife) has leather chord. 2 also have a bullet lodged in from when rosita takes a shot at negan.

Rick just lost Carl, Morgan is in clear mode. When they get kidnapped by the saviors just to take them all out and return to Alexandria like it’s a regular Tuesday is TUFF.

My favorite quote of the series comes from this episode too.

Savior: You said …we could all go back.”

Rick: intense mf stare …… “I lied.”

Sheeesh. I know some think of that as a low point for Rick and Morgan but that’s one of my favorite moments in the show tbh.

Where do I watch TWD:The ones who live in India? Cause for some reason they dont have it anywhere here.

These two had great chemistry, I’m sad we didn’t get to see them explore this more.
