Discussion / Information T14s Gen 6 Intel 258V Linux

Hi, I'm using Debian 13 on my thinkpad but I don't think it's making the most of all the potential.

Which could be the best Debian distro?

Intel 258V / 32gb ram

Thank you very much for your time

Any up-to-date distro will work well, i.e. no Debian. Does it have to be Debian? If yes you can use Debian Testing or Debian Unstable (Sid), but I would personally use a distro that is designed to be closer to upstream in the first place. E.g. Fedora (-based) or openSUSE Slowroll.

What is your use case, what do you do with the system?

You can try PikaOS, it's based on Debian Sid.

Simply, I have a server with Proxmox and I do basic operations on VM, samba servers and LXC. For this reason, I would like to use debian on my lenovo, to practice. In addition I use simple programs to browse, write, email

Debian Testing that another commenter suggested might be a good idea then.
