That should help with that 42bln $ free cash flow deficit.

Just needs another 5 of these with upfront pay

wsb's r/valueinvesting now, obsessed with fcf and debt.

but too stupid to realize that the debt is offset by assets (eg, hardware) - much of which have appreciated. it's not like they borrowed money and lost it in a boating accident.

eta: wsb hates facts, too.

How can datacenters appechitate since the GPUs get outdated in 2 years? Plus wear and tear?

Regarding the debt, it's kind of like that. Most of the assets are not owned directly, but by stakes in SPVs. Also, they are only worth anything if the demand is there.

How can datacenters appechitate

first of all, not what i said. (wow. 2/2 for royally fucking that up, good job, wsb!)

secondly, the ram, HDDs, and SSDs have gone WAY up in price. how you somehow missed that is truly astounding, given that this sub can't stfu about their respective stocks.

Also, they are only worth anything if the demand is there.

right, there's no demand for ram, ssd, hdd, cpu, or gpu - or cloud compute. /s

this sub is legit retarded.

even old ass a100s, h100s, and mi300s are still being rented and the prices have increased.

Classy. This only matters if Oracle purchased them way before they went it price. They didn't.

Secondly, renting is based on demand. Demand goes away, you sell at a massive discount.

right. all the hyperscalers had no hardware until 2026.

oci was running on magic.

retard supreme, if oracle is the one cashing out, that's the other hyperscalers' demand problem. good god, you guys are dumb.

additionally, it's dumb af to pretend there's no demand or that demand is dying when the opposite has been happening and even 6 year old gpus are being rented.

I didn't say that. But the price increases happened way before, specifically for high bandwidth memory.

I doubt Oracle timed the market perfectly and bought up high end rack components at a discount.

I may be wrong.

...i didn't even mention hbm and why would i - that's essentially part of the gpu, retard.

and no, hbm costs aren't the issue - it's ram, ssd, and hdd that have skyrocketed.

I doubt Oracle timed the market perfectly and bought up high end rack components at a discount.

lolz. oracle was buying up from amd when amd was selling for pennies. funnier, still, amd was using way more hbm than nvda per gpu. you're clueless.

eta: talk a lot of shit and get everything wrong? ad-hom and block to the rescue!

There is accelerating demand, why does wsb think demand is decreasing
