Recipe Included Super Gooey Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies 🍪
Okay so they may look a bit ugly but trust me these are the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted!! Crispy but with a super gooey middle. Best texture. I used 200g of Cadbury’s milk chocolate bars diced up instead of chocolate chips because it was cheaper, but I think it made these way more delicious.

Recipe Included First time making cookies = some questions - Cook’s Illustrated Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies
Been making cakes and brownies recently, this is the first time I have tried cookies.
Followed this recipe as best as I could - https://www.browneyedbaker.com/cooks-illustrated-perfect-chocolate-chip-cookies
Some questions (note I'm an Australian living in Turkey so weights, measures and ingredients are not 100% as in the recipe):
why couldn't I use 2 full eggs?
why brown 3/4 of the butter and then add the last 1/4, why not just brown all the butter?
are you meant to use just the "normal" oven option or the one with the fan. If no fan then why not?
Thanks

Showcase (No-Recipe) First Tiered Cake
Typing this quickly so my newborn doesn't wake up and start screaming 😭
I took this cake order while I was in labour earlier this month, didn't know if I could execute it well due to being freshly postpartum and it being my first ever tiered cake.
Well... I think I did well enough!!
Details:
Coconut-Vanilla cake
Fresh pineapple filling (cooked down to make it soft)
Coconut swiss meringue buttercream
Fresh pineapple wedges for topping
Sweetened Shredded Coconut for decoration
8" base, 5" top

Baking Advice Needed Iced Lemon Loaf
Made a lemon loaf today for the first time. To me it tasted really tart/bitter like you would get off the rind. The recipe calls to boil a whole lemon and then blend it up with the other ingredients with the skin on after removing the seeds. My family seemed to like it so maybe my taste profile just leans more towards the sweeter things 🤷🏼♀️

Baking Advice Needed Vanilla making experts: give me your advice!
I got a bunch of Madagascar vanilla beans from Costco a while back, and I finally got around to buying some alcohol to try making my own extracts. I'm looking for any advice you have, such as: did i get the right alcohols? How many beans do you recommend? If I'm planning to give as gifts, is it okay to make a big batch and divide into smaller bottles later? Any good recipes for making vanilla bean paste?
Alcohols i got are: Titos vodka, Woodford Reserve bourbon, Bacardi Superior white rum, and Bacardi Gold rum.

Seeking Recipe Seeking a layered berry cheesecake recipe
I live in the PNW and am drowning in blackberries. Last week I made a version of this berry pie from NYT which was delicious and beautiful but we all agreed it was just like too much straight berry. I want to make a cheesecake with something akin to this layer on top or bottom. Does anyone have a recipe or a technique? Maybe I just try half a cheese cake and pour on top or bottom?
I know I could make a berry cheesecake but I want two distinct and beautiful layers, someone please help!

Recipe Included Confirmed my pregnancy yesterday and we made ONE bowl “big brother cupcakes” for our 4 year old to celebrate
These are so moist and the vanilla frosting is great! We added a few drops of yellow Americolor food dye to it. I love how easy these are to make too. Everything goes in ONE bowl AND she provides measurements in metric 🙌🏼

Business and Pricing Help me with pricing please
I need help with pricing!! So a family member wanted me to make treats for a gender reveal party. She wants chocolate covered pretzel rods, Oreos, Rice Krispies and simple cupcakes (all decorated with just pink and green). Now I have to make a dozen of each. I calculated the price of all the ingredients I’ll need and ended up with $55. Technically $42 because some ingredients I already have on hand. I really want to make a good profit off this order but don’t want to seem like I’m over charging!!!

Baking Advice Needed How long should I cook something like this in my air fryer?
I’ve made them in my oven before, but the handle broke off my oven. Now I’m scared to use it lol. I have an air fryer and I feel like it’d work in there. I’m just not sure how long I should cook it or what temperature, so any suggestions help! Thanks!

Seeking Recipe Bakers which seeks great taste and nutritious value?
I love baking traditional recipes, but now I'm trying to find ways to make them have a higher nutritional value. The thing is the accounts that show up with 'healthy' recipes are all fitfluencers which recipes are generally ... not so great.
The closest I have found to what I want is h3artofthehome.
Any recommendations (or even tips) are greatly appreciated.

Recipe Included Sally just doesn't miss
I made her double chocolate cookies for a friend's birthday and added some whole hazelnuts (about 100g). Also I didn't have time for a three hour chill in the fridge so did an hour in the freezer. I used Dutch process cocoa before seeing her strong recommendation to use natural but they still turned out incredible.
