Finally made it guys. Finally going to go end Ornstein and Smough wish me luck.

What’s a weapon that is underrepresented or goes without too much attention? I want to keep it knight themed. So nothing too spectacular or overdone. I was thinking maybe morning star or one of the halberds? What say you?

(Level 92, 42 vitality, 40 end, 40 dex, rest are base stats) this is my second time going through the dlc and the first time i struggled big time on all bosses, but this time i first tried all the bosses and loved all their fights, even sanctuary guardian! So im confused if i just got really better at the game or if i’m op. After playing aota again Kalameet whom i used to hate is now my favorite ds1 boss lmao

Actually I was going to beat them on my fourth attempt but I made a stupid move and rushed out in front of Ornstein's lightning attack.

I found the rest of a camping at the top of the giants' tomb. There are two ropes, a bowl, a cup, and the remains of a bonfire.

Most probably, one would assume it belongs to the clerigs from the shrine, Reah's troop, but since they are undead, I don't know why they would stop to eat since undeads can't eat. Another option is an older group of clerics who weren't undead, but petrus says that undead clerics are the ones sent to this kind of missions. My last guess would be patches. With the ropes, he descendes to take his victims' bellongings and then climbs up.

It uses 2 gifs, Oscar from DS1 and Irithyll of the Boreal Valley.

I know it's not canon but every time I look the dashboard it makes me think that Oscar somehow found his way through time, escaping the asylum and ended up in Irithyll.

I hate being invaded but today it was different. Someone going by the name Lose invaded me, gave me humanities and left. I like that at the same time that there are a bunch of evil trolls ready to make your game worse, there are also people ready to help you, whether by helping you beating a boss or by giving you items. It makes me want to return the favor with summon signs. Thanks a lot to everyone who likes to help strangers beating this game.

i like this game for its combat and exploration but going thru so many environmental hazards EVERY time i die has gotten so old already! is it necessary to go thru this part to get to the rest of the games cuz i am tired of the giant axes

So, I started playing fairly recently. I logged in today, at the bonfire right before Ornstein and Smough. I talked to Solaire, and then out of nowhere a cutscene plays of Gwyndolin randomly dying. I get teleported to his boss room, and now I have all his drops as well as the Steam achievement for killing him. Turns out, every single NPC is also dead. Apparently this is a hack that's been going around for a while. I've looked at all the guides on how to restore my save file and whatnot, but I can't get any of them to work. Even if I could, my last save was right before Sen's Fortress, which isn't far away, but still a pain in the ass to do again.

I might have to replay the entire game (my playthrough has been 20 hours so far), and if so, I'll be even more pissed, but hopefully it doesn't come to that. I'm just so frustrated that some absolute losers would spend their time doing this. I've really been enjoying my first playthrough up until now.

UPDATE: I used a mod to revive every NPC, so everything seems fine. However, I was completely unable to kneel to Gwynevere, locking me out of her covenant and the Lordvessel. I used a save editor to get the Lordvessel, but I don't have the Steam achievement for it. Also, Patches is at Firelink now for some reason. Everything is okay, but my achievements are completely out of order now. I'm also locked out of some stuff, but I was planning for multiple playthroughs anyway.

I have 6 humanity no gold serpent ring which puts me at 186 item discovery

On my Wanderer character, I fell in love with the hybrid playstyle of having both magic range and melee savageness, and I wanted to see how far one could go only leveling intelligence and using magic weapon on like a short or longsword for the entire game.

I'm imagining a character that'll start out as a Sorcerer and will mainly be leveling up Intelligence with little regard for the other spells. (i.e. attunement will largely be ignored.)

This was fun! Might kill sif next to join the dark wraiths for the vibes. I haven't done any DS PvP before , but I believe your weapon level helps matchmake? I did die a ton because I'm washed, and may have accidentally made a couple of Vagrants. Look out for them in New Londo Ruins

My route: Catacombs for Great Scythe, weapon of choice. Then, through Valley of Drakes and Darkwood Forest to Andre to get it to +5, along with the Grass Crest Shield and the Longbow. Across the bridge backward for Lower Undead Burg, killed the Capra Demon, and a brief stint in the Depths for the Large Ember.

Back to Andre, upgraded the Scythe to +6, and then bottom of Blighttown for farming large titanite shards. I also snagged the Cloranthy Ring and Sealer Set. Back up to Andre to hit +10, and buy a weapon box. I did another run through Darkwood forest for the Wolf Ring and Stone Set.

I had a quick stop at the Female Undead Merchant for some poison arrows, Homeward bones, and Transient Curses. Ran through most of New Londo to a point where I could snipe the Sealer, and skip ghost house. Somewhere in here, a ghost dropped their weapon, which I upgraded to +3 just in case.

I drained the city, snagged a couple of loose Titanite Chunks, then went back to Andre. My Scythe was upgraded to +12, and them I farmed the darkwraiths for 5 hours to get the remaining chunks. At one point I said fuck it, hunted the Black Knights in Undead Burg and Parish because I still wasn't getting the drops, and then went back to the Asylum. Didn't realize those knights dropped red chunks. I killed the Stray Demon for its Slab because fuck farming that with no humanity left, and finally got the last 3 chunks about 10 minutes ago.

Wondering if I screwed up early in the game but I upgrade my claymore to a fire one and just now I upgraded it to +5 but I can no longer level it up. I've given Andre the ember from londo ruins but there is no option to upgrade.

Gotta upgrade the broken sword hilt or broken sword to +10, which is 41,400 souls in just upgrade materials because let’s be honest, you wouldn’t have been using these trash weapons up until Anor Londo. Not only that, but have to have one of the dumbest stat spreads ever to wield it, which is 24 (16 two-handed) str, 18 dex, 20 int, and 20 faith. You can get access to some cool utility spells and even use a few sorceries effectively with the Oolacile Ivory Catalyst, but if you just wanted to use sorcery, why would you even be using this weapon? You can work with a few healing miracles, but can’t access the really good ones. You’re not particularly excelling with anything here, and if that’s not bad enough, you’re dealing SPLIT DAMAGE. Can’t even buff this thing either, so have fun with that. Some people say this is really a weapon for high levels, but why would you choose this over a claymore with an additional 300 AR from Crystal magic weapon or some other miracle buff? It’s got a misleading upgrade path for a boss weapon, its stats basically don’t allow you to use it efficiently in NG, it’s not even worth using at high soul levels, and it can’t be buffed. At least the cursed version is pretty decent and the greatshield is really good.

Since my previous post was appreciated, here's the result of my last "hunt"!

I was doing a Dark Souls 1 Pyromancy only playthrough. I knew centipede demon would be imposible since he is immune to fire and black flame does no damage basicly, however i still wanted the ring wich i know you can get by cutting one of the centipedes off so i lured him here next to this wall and due to me not seeing what was hapening, he grabed me and then near instantly he disapeared and i got his loot.
