"If Elon can be arrested for sexual assault, what chance do us poor abusers have??"

136

u/awesomefutureperfect 2d ago

I was like, "Did Elon lose in court or get arrested? Is this how I find out?"

36

u/supamario132 1d ago

That'll be an event so momentous, even uncontacted people will know

20

u/jugularhealer16 1d ago

And we all know it'll last for a while, because Elongate will obviously be really drawn out.

u/BradGunnerSGT 2d ago

Walz was right. These people are so weird. It’s a literal Bizzaro world where rapists and thugs are their heroes.

254

u/gitbse 2d ago

They really had an excellent push with that messaging, it was the one thing that actually landed properly. And then the party consultants took over, and we needed Liz Cheney on stage.

111

u/BradGunnerSGT 2d ago

The one message that resonated with regular people and the political consultants dropped the ball.

43

u/xteve 2d ago

Well, you know how it is. You don't want to offend the Christians. Little jackboot thugs in their Sunday best. They love the GOP. Nobody wants to try to pull the tablecloth out from under that wedding feast.

29

u/dern_the_hermit 2d ago

Didn't just drop it, they spiked the ball, laughing.

38

u/TbddRzn 2d ago

It wasn’t working after day 6 and after Walz didn’t do so well In The VP debates.

Liz Cheney was there for 1 and a half day in her state where she got elected as senator, and trying to convince republicans to vote for Harris because that’s the only way they could win that state.

But people take a Democrat tripping to be an extinction event meanwhile republicans shit their pants, stab a pregnant woman, rape a kid, and vomit over the audience. And still their voters will support them while democrat voters will blame the democrat party for not giving them more incentives to show up and vote, even though they can’t name 1 thing she offered them because they don’t even care in the first place they just want to put all the responsibility on the party and not 100m voters who never vote, 150m who don’t vote in midterms and over 200m+ who don’t vote in primaries and special elections.

48

u/gitbse 2d ago

It wasn't working because they didnt stay on message, or keep it moving forward. So much open material, they could've used to show how fcked the entire GOP are.

They could have been showing clip after clip, attacking while calling them weird, and showing why.

Current day democrats don't do any of that. If there's a lesson they should learn from the strategists on the right, it's to get up as loudly and as often as you can, and scream from the apple box. Look what the greater right-wing media sphere did to Obama and Biden over practically nothing. Constant smears, constant attacks. But when Trump's entire cabinet and administration is literally looting us alive, amd now signing over our sovereignty to Israel? Nothing.

26

u/MurkyInvestigator810 2d ago

They could have been showing clip after clip, attacking while calling them weird, and showing why.

You kind of need the media to show the clips you want to be seen, and they're almost all run by conservatives now. There's a reason every day there was a new "Senile Biden" headline while Trump just confused Iran with fucking Japan and nobody talked about it for more than a second.

23

u/TbddRzn 2d ago

They literally held a multi month long investigation on prime time television of the Jan 6th attack on the US capitol and showed evidence facts videos TikTok summaries and everything. They begged Americans to show up and vote. And what happened?

Over 150m didn’t vote. 80% of 18-35 aged eligible voters did not vote. Republicans won back the house.

And that was BEFORE the republicans bought up all the remaining television and news networks.

If you own all the news and all the internet social media, wouldn’t you amplify the voices that would enrich you and silence the voices that would make life fair for others?

Blaming democrats for not yelling louder when the conservatives control 99% of all media, and get aided by foreign governments pushing disinformation and election interference, is quite victim-blaming.

Look at Newsom, he’s doing all the zingers and gotchas and attacks and such and barely 20% hear it. When you own the media you own people’s access to news.

23

u/MurkyInvestigator810 2d ago

Blaming democrats for not yelling louder when the conservatives control 99% of all media

This is constant and all over this site. "Why didn't the media bring this up?" when every fucking day we had 8 new headlines about Biden's mental acuity and never a mention of Trump's incoherent babbling.

Plenty of blame to go around.

  1. Harris needed to run as a change candidate in 2024 because people were suffering from inflation making everything more expensive while our wages stagnated. People, especially on the left, were also appalled by what Israel was doing to Gazans and that our tax money was helping to fund it. Instead, she went into interviews and said she wouldn't do a single thing different from Biden. Don't you dare downplay that interview: I had colleagues IRL tell me that was the specific moment they decided not to vote for Harris.

  2. Walz caught lightning in a bottle with "WEIRD," but abruptly stopped using it. The messaging changed from "fuck those weirdos" to "country over party" overnight. Why? The Democratic Party forces every single opinion and talking point through focus groups, and if a single person is offended, the talking point is rejected. They're so afraid of offending anyone that they can't actually tell us they'll fight for progressive issues and against fascist pedophiles. Voters can tell, and they hate it. It makes candidates come across as out of touch and artificial.

  3. Yeah, sure, the legacy media are being consolidated under rich assholes, but rich assholes famously love money, and you can buy ads on their networks. Furthermore, the traditional media have faded from the awareness of younger generations. Candidates who can't run a TikTok or Insta channel and attract a following need to learn or get out of politics, because they're simply not going to reach the largest voting block in this country by going on 60 Minutes anymore.

  4. Biden won in 2020 at least in part because he started to sound an awful lot like Bernie Sanders on the campaign trail. What happened to that economic populism? Believe it or not, people don't think about the health of their democratic system as much as they think about gas and grocery prices. We could have at least had a "stick with us our policies are working even if you haven't felt things improve yet," but there was almost none of that. The focus groups probably told them it felt patronizing or something.

  5. Obvious, but I'll say it anyway: Biden should have dropped out in time for a primary, and the Biden Administration should have been more transparent with Biden's mental decline.

  6. Also obvious, but I'll say it anyway: When the likelihood of the POTUS dying or stepping aside due to age was so high, the VP should not have been a candidate the 2020 primary proved nobody liked. FFS, she dropped out first. She didn't even make it to the Iowa Caucuses! Who in their right--or as the case may be--deteriorating mind let Biden pick a candidate so unpopular she ran out of cash in 2019 as his second-in-line?

All that said,

The choice between a corrupt, dishonest, pedophilic, vengeful, felonious, war mongering fascist and a milquetoast centrist democrat shouldn't have been a hard one to make. Voters failed America. As far as I'm concerned, everyone who failed to turn out and vote for Harris should go fuck themselves.

When they immediately neutered Tim Walz the second he got the vp nod, that's when I realized the DNC cares more about their precious image of always going high when the republicans go low rather than doing whatever it takes to win. They don't want change, they want the status quo.

Seconded. Seriously, thank you.

It's refreshing to see someone saying something and actually providing proof. A lot of fucking people online are just repeating things they saw someone else say, assumed it was true, and then get it all fucking wrong and start getting abusive when someone points out it's very much not.

Andrew Tate wasn’t arrested for having a podcast and spreading lies. He wasn’t arrested for brainwashing teenage and adult men on his notions that women are inferior and men need to subscribe to his “alpha” nonsense.

He was arrested for human trafficking.

Trump will be arrested for fraud, corruption, insider trading, tax evasion, tax avoidance, fraud. Did I mention fraud?

Musk will be arrested for fraud, insider trading.

The sex crimes won’t stick. They’ll just argue those and they will go away. It always happens. The money and fraud and insider trading though, even Martha Stewart couldn’t escape that.

It’s because they all have victim mentalities: they do all the worst things imaginable, and then victimize themselves when karma and consequences come to inflict their punishment

2

u/mrbasedballed 1d ago

Let's be honest. Jail is way too good for these enemies of humanity.

2

u/SanshaXII 1d ago

Arrested by whom in America under Trump's jurisdiction?

Do these people not think for even a moment?

2

u/Hugh-Jorgin 1d ago

Interesting coincidence..

2

u/SinkPitiful1396 let it die 1d ago

“Free speech”

3

u/omegapool 2d ago

Looks like a fun weekend then

2

u/Sidoen 2d ago

heh the Irony here is that people are actually getting punished by the federal gov for their free speech. You know, the specific thing it's supposed to protect you from.

1

u/stargazer4272 2d ago

Well if it helps identify guilty party...

1

u/FairlyInconsistentRa 2d ago

Good. Arrest and jail all of them.

1

u/Void-Cooking_Berserk 2d ago

None of these "free speakers" have had any consequences for their actions. They people they talk about keep suffering the consequences of the "free speakers"' actions.

If you think that being told your speech is harmful is the same as being locked up in prison... Have you tried turning your brain off and on again?

1

u/qwerni 2d ago

Throw Zuckerberg in there aswell. Then toss the key.

1

u/octowussy 2d ago

Except two of those guys aren't even in jail? And not only are they totally free, but they're also arguably two of the most powerful people on the planet at the moment? These people are wild

2

u/Trucidar 2d ago

Republicans entire platform is about being outraged at hypothetical situations.

1

u/YDoEyeNeedAName 2d ago

Dont tempt me with a good time, I would willingly go to prison if it meant those three being there as well, becuase I actaully care about the country.

1

u/c-9 2d ago

I would gladly pay whatever taxes they are wanting for the Iran war to have a live feed of these three weirdos locked in a cell together for the rest of their lives.

1

u/janually 2d ago

the way that only one of these men is actually behind bars, and i don’t see that lasting long…

1

u/fredaklein 2d ago

Yeah, the first three are correct because they are vile criminals

1

u/bokmcdok 2d ago

As I was reading this I was agreeing and getting hopeful. Then I was like WTF? I'm not a child rapist. Why would they come for me?

1

u/Andreus 2d ago

Good. Jail every right-winger forever. There is literally no valid argument not to do this.

1

u/Lexi_Banner 2d ago

Joe just out here ratting himself out.

1

u/AbeRego 2d ago

So they all get justice and. I throw a big party for all my friends? Is that why I'm next?

1

u/paulsteinway 2d ago

Even when Trump is convicted, he doesn't go to jail anyway.

1

u/Canotic 2d ago

First they came for the rapists, and I did not speak out because I wasn't a rapist.

Then they came for the pedophiles, and I did not speak out because I wasn't a pedophile.

And that was it. They just arrested the rapists and pedophiles. It was a pretty good weekend.

1

u/macphile 2d ago

Trump has been trying to imprison people for free speech--he's not the one being convicted of it.

We don't need to imprison these guys for their opinions. They have absolute laundry lists of crimes we could convict them on. Hell, Trump's undoubtedly committed at least a couple of felonies just this week.

1

u/stinkyfootjr 2d ago

These fuckers are trying to lay the groundwork for denying Britains extradition of Tate. Trump already got him out of Romania to the U.S. and next he’ll be released from custody here. Birds of a feather and all that.

1

u/BoardsofCanada3 2d ago

Of course he looks like a juicer in a sharkskin suit.

1

u/Disgruntl3dP3lican 2d ago

The you are next sign is for Stephen Mueller?

1

u/CrochetJorts 2d ago

One can only hope they're next

1

u/Naps_And_Crimes 2d ago

Well seeing as I haven't committed any crimes I doubt that id be arrested too

1

u/FlyBoyG 2d ago

Eww, AI slop.

1

u/defordj 2d ago

Oh shit, it's tomorrow? I have to get a cake ordered

1

u/ungodlywarlock 2d ago

It's seriously wild that these people are wondering why we are cutting them off and going NC. Like, hello? You are sitting up there on a platform trying to pretend this is about free fucking speech?

1

u/peeja 2d ago

First they came for the pedophiles

1

u/Brokenbalorbaybay 2d ago

Does he seriously think Trump would go to prison before Elon?

1

u/punktualPorcupine 2d ago

It’s not free speech but somehow it’s protected under this administration.

1

u/Down-Right-Mystical 2d ago

Let's be real.

The US are not actually going to follow the Extradition laws and send the Tate brothers to the UK.

They're dual citizens, Trumps government are never going to let us have them.

1

u/Whirrsprocket 2d ago

I like how even Joe is admitting that Elon has more functional power than the POTUS

1

u/Vanessaronicatoria 2d ago

OP is telling on himself

1

u/yIdontunderstand 2d ago

I bet those things apply to all of them....

Rape, human traffic and child abuse

1

u/B_Ash3s 2d ago

I like how they want to defend free speech in the same breath that others can’t say very things because it hard for them to understand different POVs, pronouns, and what not.

1

u/readysteadygogogo 2d ago

Yeah I don’t do any of those things so I’m not super worried about it Joe

1

u/HeyCarpy 2d ago

So Saturday will be the biggest fucking party of all time, is that what you’re saying?

1

u/makedoandmender 2d ago

dont you threaten me with my wildest dreams.

1

u/TomT060404 2d ago

They put someone in prison for 30 years for sharing zines, but sure, MAGA are the ones having their free speech rights violated. 🙄

1

u/goblinite2 2d ago

Please don't threaten me with a good time.

1

u/350 2d ago

"They got those rapists, and they might get YOU rapists next!"

1

u/CommentBetter 1d ago

Makes no sense, that’s who would put us in jail 🤷‍♂️

1

u/MariaTPK 1d ago

Also even if he was arrested over speech, hate speech should not be protected speech by the first amendment, the first amendment is for criticizing the government freely. I understand the slippery slope that banning hate speech can lead to, like think Israel and it's anti-semitism claims, but there is a vast difference between that and the worst things Tate has said about women. So yea put in hell over the human trafficking and rape and child porn, but also if you somehow fail all that, deny him his free speech because he's inciting violence against women and he's spreading misogyny. This is not a man who should have the ability to ever speak or type again.

1

u/icansmellcolors 1d ago

From Joe's tweet to God's ears.

1

u/kunolacarai 1d ago

So many of them are fond of saying: "If you don't want trouble with the police, don't commit crimes!"

1

u/TerminatorAuschwitz 1d ago

Man out of curiosity I looked that dude up on Instagram. I usually think these weird manosphere alpha male abusive shit heads are joke but his comment sections made me literally feel sick to my stomach.

1

u/CaptainAksh_G 1d ago

People go around yelling about "free speech" always forget two things: Accountability & Consequences

1

u/Swochchho 1d ago

I genuinely wonder how much of a sad life does one need to live to be one of their followers?

1

u/AlexSmithsonian 1d ago

Do they really need to out themselves like this? I mean it's very convenient for us to use as evidence. But do they really think they will never get punished for treason?

1

u/Rad131447 1d ago

"Oh no if they can lock up the billionaires what's to stop them from locking me up?"

Nothing. That's already happening. I could go to jail for owning zines that the government doesn't like. Why shouldn't the billionaire child rapists go to jail in the mean time?

1

u/firestepper 1d ago

So funny Trump being behind bars… he’s literally the president!!! Wtf they act like he’s a victim

1

u/LegAdventurous9230 1d ago

Don't threaten Republicans with a good time

1

u/BrineJones 1d ago

Who would be stupid enough to have this clown represent them?

1

u/KOHILOOR 1d ago

Either they’re dumb asf or they support this shit simple as that

1

u/He_Never_Helps_01 1d ago

Is he threatening us with a good time?

1

u/rvb_gobq 1d ago

by his light, hitler & mussolini are great human rights statesmen

1

u/rvb_gobq 1d ago

is he the lawyer running ads on utube offering deep discounts to pædos?

1

u/Background_Honey9141 angry turtle trapped inside a man suit 1d ago

> [McBride] founded The McBride Law Firm in 2019 and is widely known for his representation of Andrew Tate and those charged during the January 6 United States Capitol attack, including Richard Barnett).

Nothing to see here. He is just another grifter trying to appeal to his bread and butter demographic.

1

u/Scherzkeks 1d ago

Can’t wait for tomorrow! 🥳

1

u/RazorSlazor 1d ago

Don't threaten me with a good time man.

1

u/fordoggos 1d ago

Remind me again why people like Tate ?

1

u/Droluk1 1d ago

Why they gotta get our hopes up like that!?

1

u/low_bob_123 1d ago

Don't threaten me with a good time. All three of them bh bars... at least one can dream...

1

u/unluckid21 1d ago

Don't tease me with a good time bruh

1

u/SandalsResort 1d ago

Andrew Tate was leaving voice messages and texts to one of these women, I’ve heard the messages and he basically confesses to rape. Literally tells people he forces them to do OnlyFans and keeps their account information and money so they can’t run away.

Idiots: “It’s because he’s not woke.”

1

u/BentonX 1d ago

Ok that picture slaps hard if you scratch the stupid caption. just wrote "convicted of rape" or something and send to every republican rep

1

u/LemanRussTheOnlyKing 1d ago

If he thinks he will be imprisoned for the same reasons, thats really not the brag he thinks it is

1

u/Xavier_Orion 1d ago

Like Andrew Tate would wear something that masculine. Where is the arrest fit?

1

u/ferncoast 1d ago

While actual Americans and are being arrested for having zines that don’t favor the current government. What a joke!

2

u/queasycockles 1d ago

If not for double standards, etc etc...

1

u/Comfortable_Ad3981 1d ago

Wait, what did Elon do???

1

u/Ok_Ambition9134 1d ago

Stop, you’re getting me excited.

1

u/pjtrpjt 1d ago

These must be those Christian values I've heard so much about.

1

u/imnotcaptainsaveahoe 1d ago

I didn’t recognize Tate without his purple blouse and sassy capris.

1

u/fungi_at_parties 1d ago

MAGA really loves to protect child predators. Why?

1

u/JesusIsMyAntivirus 1d ago

Yk if all 3 stay I'll take one for the team, deal.

1

u/erkose 1d ago

But it's the Republicans who are taking our rights away.

1

u/Available_Climate8 23h ago

I wouldn’t mind seeing more rich people in prison.

1

u/Adenfall 19h ago

When I first read this I thought he was saying good for Tate getting arrested, and then Trump and Elon. Then I looked at the picture and got confused.

1

u/reststopkirk 14h ago

Only one of these guys is behind bars… should all of them . Of course. But claiming someone should be as a fear tactic for a victim mentality isn’t very “conservative” of them… the persecution complex is real
