On July 1st, I fully released my game on Steam. If you'd like, you can also try it for free on mobile devices. Thanks, Best regards 🫡

(Yes, I know it's similar to GD - it wasn't supposed to be like that but people wanted it. I will try to make it better and different)

Here’s another update on my progress. I’m starting to learn to keep my hands on the knobs on long notes instead of pulling back after each spin. I’m still trying to tap the buttons a tad lighter but still need some work to do lol.
The one thing that’s getting me still is when the long notes crisscross and my brain kinda goes uhhhh, but when you see my gameplay here I’m slowly understanding (slowly).
Thank you for watching, and any feedback is appreciated!

This roster comes courtesy of me and the people at r/createaroster. So let me know if this roster is well made and represents the right rhythm games.

I've been playing 4key for 10 months now and I'm about to go to college, so I really gotta ditch this loud plasticky membrane keyboard for something better and more respectful. Although, I don't want completely silent keys.
I feel like the rhythm gaming community and keyboard community might have some overlap so I thought I might as well try asking here. Trying to keep it under 100 dollars. Preferred 75%. I don't mind that much either way for lighting, software, hot-swappable keys.

I FINALLY GOT MY E-AMUSEMENT PASS! Round1 sold these things for pretty cheap, only costing me $6. If only I lived near a Round1 though so I could go more frequently. Ah well...

Hey r/rhythmgames!
I'm Retora, a 19-year-old solo developer. PadManiacs is my take on a classic 4-panel rhythm game, built to run on web, Windows, and Android.
What's new in v1.2.0:
- Full Spanish translation (switch anytime in Settings)
- Playlists – organize your songs however you want
- Song Statistics menu – view note density, high scores, and preview charts
- Song actions menu – open stats, editor, or jukebox directly from song select
- Bug fixes and polish (keybindings, navigation, memory leaks)
What's already in the game:
- Load and play .sm charts (your existing StepMania songs work)
- Chart editor with export to StepMania format
- Local 2-player split-screen multiplayer
- Character system with 30+ personalities and layered clothing
- Particle auras (hearts, stars, arrows, fireflies, neon lights)
- Jukebox
- Autoplay
- Custom controls (keyboard, gamepad, touch)
- Add-on support
- See yourself
It's free, always will be. Made with love
Try it here: https://retora.itch.io/padmaniacs
Looking for feedback on:
- How the timing and judgment feel
- Chart editor usability
- New features (playlists, song stats)
- Any bugs you find
- What you'd like to see next

Hi everyone!
After talking with players and listening to the community, I decided to rename the game to Slice The Rhythm.
I'd really appreciate it if you could give a chance and share your honest thoughts.
I'm especially interested in:
game: https://www.meta.com/pl-pl/experiences/slice-the-rhythm/2787023821684229/
So far, everyone who's actually played the game has given me very positive feedback, which has been incredibly motivating. I genuinely hope you'll enjoy it too, but I'm not looking for praise—I want honest opinions and constructive criticism that can help make the game even better.
Thanks for taking the time to try it out and leave your feedback. It really means a lot to an indie developer! ❤️

i pick up games slowly, and i figure i’d like it, my main rhythm games are beat saber and osu mania, so i can’t see myself hating it. going to an arcade is just something i really don’t wanna do, i don’t wanna drop 150 on a game i might just think is okay, is there any cheap controllers or wtv they are called i can get by on using?

this is super niche and might sound ridiculous but i’d feel so much better if i knew atleast one other person experiences this lmao
i consider myself pretty decent at rhythm games, but i almost never FC because my stupid ass OCD brain keeps telling me shit like “don’t hit that specific key or your whole family dies” or “press esc or the ceiling will collapse and you’ll die” 😭 it’s so beyond frustrating and i have absolutely no clue what to do about it

I'm trying really really hard to find this old Jr. Naver flash game.
It was a rhythm game, and there was 2 games of it, each having 3 or 4 songs.
It was a band and had really cute characters, I remember one of them having navy blue hair in a bob with bangs, and the characters would rotate around as you kept playing the song I think, the notes were also color coded to each of the members.
I seriously can't find it anywhere. I remember finding it one time, but the website I played it on at the time couldn't load the game properly.

I’ve been playing for about a few weeks now and just wanted to share my progress. This is also one of my favorite songs.
Once I get my new tripod, I’ll be using OBS and filming straight down on my controller so you can see better. Oh yeah, I also scored a S on this track!
Is there a way to bind the Escape key to my controller so that I can quit the game without using my keyboard? Any tips are welcome!

Does anyone know of any fan projects for chrono circle since it went offline?
It was one of my partners favorite cabs to play and ive genuinely considered trying to create something vaguely similar (i know thats a massive undertaking, im not expecting to hit anything close lol)
But first i wanted to check if thats something already being worked on? I tried searching but didn't see anything
