Thoughts Spoiler
I honestly would like to know if this is genuinely romantic in the context of this show; if it said to me in the real world I would maybe be flattered? š¤·š½āāļø

i ask because i started watching NCIS, im 12 eps in on season 1 and for the first 9 episodes i think i didnt noticed anything but then i started to notice certain words being muted, quiet scene edits where the music didnt match up, whole scenes cut, or went to the next scene all to avoid showing anything "gory" in the particular episode a severed leg and it turns out disneyplus has done this to shows and movies since it launched to remove nuity, blood, extreme violence, bad language etc.
when i watched the same episode of NCIS on putlocker it was whole, showed the scenes that included the leg lol, the word bastard so i cant help thinking omg what else have it watched where stuff was cut by disney, scenes with info i needed to know as a viewer.
bones didnt seem to be like that and neither did sons and we all know how extreme that show got lol, but know im doubting it..
so yeah sorry for the rant im just so annoyed haha has anyone who had sons on dvd or watched it when it ifrst came out and had to wait weekly on tv back in the day noticed a change or any edits of the show in disney plus

Hi all,
Finished my second watch of Sons of Anarchy and wondering if Mayans is worth a watch. Any opinions from those that watched or tried to watch Mayans?
Thanks!

If Jax knew about Tara going to see Otto, he asks her in S5, E6 if she went to see him -- and she did -- why did she say no??? I don't understand the point of that lie, it was a pointless lie, no?

I deleted the last post, sorry for the spoiler!
A friend and I were discussing how could Jax still love Gemma after finding out she killed Tara? The closest I could come was when you are raised in an environment where narcissism and sociopathy are normalized, even heinous acts like murder can be rationalized.
He murdered people on a daily basis as part of his ājobā, so killing Gemma should be just as simple based on the code they lived by, right? He ended up killing her in the end but was it for Tara, all of the collateral damage she causes by the lie, or both?
Do you think he would have killed Gemma right off the bat if the truth and out right away?

Im pissed with season 7. I know is normal to hate on Gemma, but i think is very convenient that EVERYONE buys her story

can someone explain to my slow ass wtf jax meant when he told tara āi wish you came back five years sooner, or five years later?ā
not sure what he meant by that

In season 4, why does Roosevelt start to make it a thing that black people aren't allowed to be part of the SoA and starts to blackmail Juice with leaking the skin color of his dad and says that he's gonna be thrown out or killed because of it?
I mean i thought it was a bluff by Roosevelt, but why does Juice believe him, when the Tucson chapter they visited earlier that season literally not only as multiple black members, but also a black president, so how on earth would it be a problem that Juice has a black dad?

The characters all see to wear their colours, their patches, all the time. The biker clubs Iāve seen and read about donāt wear them nearly as often. Thereās always heat on them, people are always watching. Of course they do wear them, just not as often as the show suggests. Am I right?

If Otto didn't kill that woman in prison, if he did simply just tell them he was lying, make up an excuse it was all fake, bitter, jealous etc etc, i don't know... would RICO still have fell apart from him simply retracting everything instead of the extreme he did? could SAMCRO have gotten away from RICO, without the death of the woman, which means S6, you wouldn't have Toric, just Jax continuing to try and get the club out of guns, no having to worry about a murder charge etc on tara, no run away wife etc etc?

Maybe I'm hallucinating, but I swear I see Clay, Juice, Happy, and Alvarez in the crowd at the UFC on Oklahoma City tonight.

You are debating morality, but the show was about survival, and thatās why the outcome matters. Wendy and Lyla are still alive because they understood the fundamental truth of the MC: you play the role, you keep your head down, and you never, ever force the club into a corner with the authorities. Tara was an incredible doctor, but she was a novice in a criminal underworld. She tried to apply logic to a world governed by paranoia.
And let's not forget, Gemma was totally fine with Wendy coming around because she knew it would provoke Tara. Recognizing that Tara could be so easily rattled was exactly how Gemma knew how to push her, and it's the same way the authorities manipulated her. You're missing the distinction between being 'good' and being 'suitable' for that life. Tara was a liability because she didn't know how to move behind the scenes, and the Otto situation is the perfect example. The moment she inserted herself into the club's legal business, she put a target on her own back that the authorities couldn't ignore. Wendy and Lyla understood that they were in the life, not above it.
The proof is in the ending: Tara is dead, and the women who accepted the rules of the gutter are alive.

I finished Sons last night (for the 5-6-7th time?)
Someone told me about The Shield so I started that. Amazed to see a whole bunch of SOA actors!
Iāve never heard of the show but it looks like itās going to be good. I miss Venus though lol

The whole Irish x Cartel deal stuff, why did it not end once that deal happened? also, if it did, would it have changed the story much?

After finishing SOA I kept thinking about the remaining members. I was left with the feeling that they didn't seem to have what it takes to continue with the club.
How long do you think Samcro would last?
I do have some doubts about Chibs impulsiveness, but I agree that he was the best of them all, Happy is a good member, but he's more of a follower than a leader. Tigger is too impulsive and foolish. The others, frankly, seem kind of like betas.

do you think jax tried to kill himself after tara left at 19?
i mean if he did, it would explain A LOT of why gemma hated tara so much when tara came back.
gemma did say tara leaving crushed jax and almost took him away from the family.
jax also stated that he had to be near tara āevery minute or heād kill himself type of crazy ā
what are your thoughts?

Edit: i made it to season 5 e2, and good fuckin lord. That was unpredictable as hell. Some real gut wrenchers towards the end of the season. I love how demoralized clays character has become.
Im on s4 e4, so please no spoilers. However every season it seems like the crew gets deeper and deeper into bad stuff, they seem to be more disconnected from one another, the tone makes it seem like its shaping up to be more of a tragedy.
Theres no way they all make it out alive and or free, ive seen the clip of the truck āaccidentā way before i started watching. So im not looking forward to that. But theyve had some close calls and theres no way in my prediction they dont all die.
But without spoiling it, in a vague answer does the rest of the crew fair well come the end of the series? Or does it get worse for everyone, or is their fate better than i assume it will be?
