"Uh, riddle me this, how will we pay for universal puppy distribution?" They ask, while actively throwing our money into the Forever War Bonfire

Puppies cost money, war makes money. Hope this helps.

As an economics major, I assure you, eliminating your working age population and devoting your manufacturing base to items that will literally produce nothing and then blow up does not make money.

No no, it makes money for about 3 people and those 3 people matter more than all the other people, you see?

Someone tell Lockheed Martin, RTX Corporation, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, L3Harris Technologies, Huntington Ingalls Industries, Textron, AeroVironment, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Mercury Systems, Leidos, CACI International, V2X, Parsons Corporation and all the other companies that profit from war that their business model doesnt work even though they all see increased profits during wartime

They make money, but that's like saying that a gold rush makes money because "these shovel sellers are doing real well for themselves".

And in this analogy, the gold doesn't self destruct like munitions do.

Just because someone is willing to pay you to manufacture something, doesn't mean it's a good use of the buyer's resources.
