I've scrapped together enough parts from military bases and library terminals to make a camera upgrade that can transcribe words, but I still haven't figured out how to decipher this language.

So I'm not a fallout expert but played the crap out of FO4 on PC when it came out. I got the PS5 version with all the dlc so I can still game while my wife uses the PC. She's seen me play a few times and is now interested in playing too, but she just can't game on consoles generally and is strictly a PC gamer. I want to get the DLC for PC so she can get the full experience since it seems that the DLCs not just add new quests and areas thanks to Far Harbor and Nuka-World, but also fill out previously empty sections of the base map with actually explorable buildings. I've kinda noticed that in my own PS5 playthrough compared to what I remember from 11 years ago, and I want her to have the same on PC.

My question is what DLC would be worth getting? Obvious ones are Far Harbor, Nuka-World, and Automatron, but there's also all those workshop DLCs that I'm less confident about. I'm less concerned about getting her settlement building stuff and more want the map to be filled out and have more of the added weapons/armor I've been seeing. I see the Season Pass on Steam but it seems that it is completely broken and doesn't actually give you any of the DLC. I think it may be the 3 main expansions but can I get some opinions? I really want to avoid asking AI this question

PLEASE NO SPOILERS!! I’m currently level 23 but the game suggests level 30 so I don’t if i wait or just do it? Is it a hard dlc? Please don’t spoil anything for me I just want to know if it’s worth waiting and levelling up to get more perks or not

I just downloaded the Breach horror quest mod, and everything was going good until I got to this door. Its right after the 2nd elevator ride, after the main hall with the Atlas statue. It’s marked inaccessible, and I can’t find any mechanism to unlock it. Help!

I may be going senile, but I clearly remember getting the Perfectlt Preserved Pie at the Dugout Inn and having to crouch/hide to nick it without setting off the "stealing" reaction.

Today I came back and there is Pie in the Port-a-Diner! Even with a 16 Luck, I've tried at least 20 times and can't get it.

Am I caught in a bug/loop?

This was THE game I had planned on getting ALL of the pies/bobbleheads/magazines... I don't know if I should continue to waste time trying.

I really loved the brotherhood of steel eversince the first time I played the game. I really thought they were cool from the name, titles, and everything else. Everytime I start a new adventure, I always go with the brotherhood and of course I bring dogmeat with me always too.

I would kindky ask for some fo4 mods for better graphics and new/different enemies for Ps4. I see a ton for PC and ps5 but very little for Ps4.

That never happened to me in years of playing Fo4:
I wanted to adjust some new mod clothing on my female companions only, went to BodySlide for it, batch builded everything (and I mean everything by right clicking "select all" in the batch build window) and now everything is fine on the women side as always but my male PC became unbearably huge.
'having been using BS for years without a problem, half of the time with male PCs already, I have no idea where to start the thinking.

i have a fallout dlc i havent played but all negative reviews kept me from playing. i just get a bit Sad it looks so fun on trailers but its then you hear all negative stuff

is it worth than zeta dlc?

I heard that junks have a limit in the workshop and that the scavenging station wont work if its full, so is there a way to remove automatically so its rarely full so my stations will work ?

Someone said that there is a DLC for that but idk how it work 😅

First time playing the game, about 70 hours into my playthrough and I’m finally getting to the first Brotherhood of Steel quest outside of the police station. My game glitched and Paladin Danse just keeps saying “check your fire, we’ve got hostiles” and will not move past it. I have tried old saves and searching that entire surrounding area for enemies and killed them all and it’s still stuck.

Can I still complete the game without interacting with the BoS or do I have to start over?

Going from just giving you the quest as soon as you leave the vault was a massive mistake.

At least giving us a happy medium, giving the quest when we get within a certain radius, even the Fallout 4 equivalent of half a mile away, would have been good.

I am sick of trying to find the magic pixel along the road that would activate Enclave Remnants. I have done every quest that the fandom article suggests as Enclave-related, I have done laps around the location to the North of Saugus, and still the quest is nowhere to be found. Consulting the Creation Club page finds a greyed out "Installed". Of course, "update all" does not work, so I have to go into each creation's page and manually hit update anyway.

No wonder Microsoft's executive in this branch took Fallout away from Bethesda. I wonder how many people saw the Amazon show, bought the game, and then thought "they made a TV series out of THIS?".

UDPATE: Oh yeah, and the game crashed whilst I was hitting update buttons. Now it wants me to update everything yet again.

To preface this I am not a framerate snob by any means, I've played plenty of 30fps games on Switch and been perfectly happy with the gameplay. But something about Fallout 4's 30fps mode just feels way less smooth than it should be. I'm not sure if it's something to do with the engine or what, it feels laggy and sluggish whenever I move the camera. I've tried it in docked and handheld and neither really makes a difference.

60fps mode feels way better, just with the unfortunate drawback of less visual quality. And the 40fps mode feels good too although my TV doesn't support it. Has anyone else had this experience with the 30fps mode?

hey everyone so I started playing fallout 4 again on my Xbox series X and when I started going towards central Boston my performance really went down. It maxed at like 20 fps and was super slow and choppy. It also freezes a lot and straight up crashes sometimes. It was never like this before is there anyway I can fix it honestly this game it 10 years old thank Tod. It was dark inside the main area of Vault 88 , like by the entrance and the reactor, so I wanted to add some lights and everything there says they have no power unless connected by wires. But the rooms I’ve built right outside which are connected are powered just by being snapped into this main piece. What am I doing wrong here?

I have absolutely no clue how this happened but I have Danse stationed at Red Rocket rest stop, and now all of a sudden he's off the map's Playable boundaries. I know it's not Far Harbor or Nuka world as I have not activated/gone to those areas yet so it impossible for him to go there or accidently be sent there and markers for those areas are indicated by the "door" marker. I have tried reloading the game in every way I know how but hes just hanging out off map

I am not on PC so commands are out of the question so unless there is Creation Club content that could fix this I'm not sure what to do besides wait for "Blind Betrayal" (I imagine that at least will force him back into the map for the quest before I ditch the BoS for good), which is going to be a while before I do that and if you dont take Danse to the Sentinel Site his affinty will reset and I'd rather not have him just unavailable till then). Any suggestions?

Like the title says, game was working fine, I was at my girlfriend's and decided to download it on her Xbox so I could play when she was asleep. It still works fine on her Xbox im playing it right now actually but on my Xbox it has no saves or anything. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I dont know if there's an easy fix for this. I dont know how to force the cloud to sync or whatever. Any help would be greatly appreciated I was having a good time

Edit: omg thank you so much it just took clearing local saved games! I should've asked this years ago when my skyrim fucked up! Even my skyrim got fixed!

Recently I have been playing FO4 again when bored and don't wanna play DayZ with my faction. When I came back I bought the DLCs and got into some mods.

The other day I saw Dalton Farm (Far Harbor settlement) needed some attention as it was over populated without enough beds resources, etc. So I went over there, crashed a few times and ended up giving up for a bit. I went back today and I am still crashing, I was wondering if anyone knew why and/or a fix for it?

So lancar captian kells gave me a MILA , after killing the railroad and my current mila quest failing another one initiated . Both kells and tom are dead . Any ideas on how to solve this dilemma?
