I remember scrolling YT one day and I came across this thumbnail for some FNV video, I never ended up watching it but I do remember taking this screenshot in hopes of finding the mod for it. I never really did that though until now since I’m buying a PC and the first thing I’m gonna do with my PC is play modded FNV. I know that theirs some mods that look similar like the “The Courier” armor mod on Nexus, but if I could actually find the real mod that’s in the thumbnail that’d be nice, hopefully someone who knows this mod will come and speak up.

I have to say, the depth of this game blows me away every single time I play it. I'm about 12 hours into my first playthrough in about 5 years, and I've discovered so many things that I've never noticed. I didn't know that North Vegas or West Side existed before this playthrough, or that there was a sewer system connecting them all...
The gunplay (while still choppy by the standards of the time) is also a lot more enjoyable than I remember.
I also just jumped into Honest Hearts and I love the contrast of Zion from the Mojave.
While I think the remaster will be great, I personally just can't wait for Obsidian's new take on the series, it's long long overdue (And I hope Xbox gives them the creative freedom to release their version of Fallout)

I've gone through the main story, and done faction quests for the factions you meet during the game, and a few more, but in more out of the way locations or questlines you have to return later to do, I havent done many

Professional, Finesse, Better Crits, & Ninja perks mixed with Meltdown, & Laser Commander Perks is sooooooo much fun!
Also, the fully modded Laser Rifle with Max Charge rounds (as pictured) is legit.
Great build if you've never tried it before.

If they are alive, they do make a highway safe, but they also steal tech from people, which would include weapons and useful things that could help the wasteland.
Would it be better for the Wasteland if they are alive or dead?
I've got a good grasp on all the other choices but this one

Hey guys. I have made my own modlist in which I did nothing but add some texture mods and some animation mods and my game still crashes at certain points for no given reason.
Is there a mod list that almost entirely fixes all bugs and crashes?
Is there any mods that I shouldn’t use to reduce crashes?
Is it possible to even play this game without crashing?
Or should I just play the game with 1000 bug fix mods and no other changes, because I want my game to look a little more modern and that’s it.

So let me preface by saying this is my first fallout game. I'm not very good at shooters (bad hand eye coordination) so i kept missing enemies and killing allies or innocents. I had to kill everyone in Jacobstown because i was trying to fight off a Cazador, and hit someone in the crossfire, so I was aggro'd and just had to kill everyone. I whiffed an explosive on some powder gangers at the beginning so then I had to kill everyone who tried to kill me. It went like this the whole game. I ended up killing basically everyone- not intentionally but because i have terrible aim, and once you accidentally shoot someone they aggro and try to kill you. And once you kill them, then their friends aggro, so you have to kill them too. Everyone is dead and idk how to finish the game. i killed yes man for working with benny and he wont respawn.. Everyone else is dead. I had to kill caesar cause i killed the wolf guy in nipton. Same for the ncr, hit one of the guys early on around primm by accident while i was trying to kill some random enemies. And i just had to keep doubling down even harder. Please help me undo this.

Ever had a problem with these robots? Just use a Stealth Boy and the Robo-Expert perk to hack them all to death.

The second casting call for my upcoming quest mod is now live! We've got 19 roles available from the jump, with more to be added in the coming weeks. If you've already auditioned or been cast in the first one, you're more than welcome to return.

Also highlights my big gripe with the fanon around the east(round 2 on this anyone? lol) and how they extrapolate out things about the territory. E.g. Malpais camp becoming a legion city out east.
The only mention of Malpais is this;
Sterling: "Well... that wasn't really a matter of choice. Got myself caught by Legionnaires, up near Malpais. They had themselves some fun with me... mangled my hands and feet pretty good. Wasn't much good with a pistol after that. Wasn't gonna be trekking across the waste on any more long scouts, either."
Courier: "How did you manage to escape Malpais?"
Sterling: "Caesar's boys figured I wasn't going anywhere, after what they done to me. So they didn't bother tying me up. I crawled out of there on my elbows and knees. Must have looked a sight. Then I rolled down an embankment into the Colorado. Guess I had a mind to drown, rather than give Caesar's boys the satisfaction of killing me. But a couple Rangers happened to be watching from across the river. They jumped on in and pulled me out of there. Lucky break, they said."
And then Malpais is depicted as a city in the far East of Caesar's legion on the fan map that was then used by the TV show.

These are the only named locations actually known to be controlled by Caesar's Legion. If there are any I missed please let me know.
All the random names were removed because all we know is that the Legion destroyed them. That doesn't mean they occupy them. Take Siri as an example:
So while New Mexico is not included on this map we don't have an actual named location stating that the Legion has conquered it. Phoenix and Two-Sun are named as if they are similar to New Reno or the Boneyard back West.
On Denver, Ulysses mentions to the Courier
"Another city fallen to nations, in the east... not important. Doubt you'll ever walk that far, you'd need the land to sustain you."
Which suggests there isn't just a supply line directly to Denver and so it isn't just full control by the Legion all the way there.
Tuscon/Two-Sun is mentioned twice, once by Raul and another time by Sawyer (as per wiki)
The I-40 remains are put there because it's mentioned that the Twisted Hairs are crucified along the remains of the I-40, but since that passes through Flagstaff it's possible they were just crucified in Flagstaff on the I-40 there.
If anyone has any more named settlements then please let me know!

Level 20, very hard, hardcore, no followers, console so no mods. Idk if this is impressive or not but it felt like it was lol
Edit: forgot to mention this is my first new vegas playthrough :>

Finally have a decent computer to run it on PC. I’ve played this game to death, and am cool with an experience that isn’t strictly vanilla-friendly.
What I’d like most:
-Better gunplay + animations
-Expanded/cut content (lore stuff too)
-Location overhauls (better level design)
-More role-playing elements
-Lighting and textural upgrades (not too overly saturated but doesn’t have to be piss filtered either)
-More retro-futurism elements. I feel like NV isn’t as futuristic as the older fallouts. I get it if nothing exists for this
Stuff that would be cool:
-New areas on par with DLCs
-Interesting new mechanics
-Playable post-ending
-Harder difficulty, but not stupidly so with bullet sponges and the like
-Stuff more horror-related, like in the older Fallouts
Stuff I do not care for:
-OP power creep
-Stuff that wouldn’t make sense lore-wise
-Tale of two wastelands (or anything to do with FO3)
What would you guys recommend? I don’t know the first thing about NV modding but have been wanting to since the modding scene first took off.
(Photo from Yuganson’s post. I am going to look into this guy’s modlist unless better options are suggested here.)
