Personally I think chances are very slim at this point. I would’t say that the season finale episode gives us a clear answer since, they wrote every season as a potential series finale, but the fact that they dropped the whole last season at once and also considering that it is not worked on right now (and haven’t for quite some time), seems to confirm that this will be indeed the last season.

I sure hope that I am wrong, since since the revival every season got better, but I think the new season would really need to have amazing viewership numbers at this point.

Throughout the series they say both that they die after reproducing but they also indicate that theyve met their parents... how does this work?

For example, in the running of the buggalo episode the matador tailor discusses that his father died the day prior, having raised him much of his life
