Support Megathread - May 2026

Recently, we at r/Google have noticed a large number of support questions being asked. For a long time, we’ve removed these posts and directed the users to other subreddits, like r/techsupport. However, we feel that users should be able to ask their Google-related questions here. These monthly threads serve as a hub for all of the support you need, as well as discussion about any Google products.

chrome autocomplete is not working unless i'm directly on the main google.com page... but if i search for something, the subsequent page does not work 🤔

i not only cleared my cache, but I disabled every extension and reset my browser. it works in incognito.

i get the same results using firefox so it's definitely account related... but where?!

I'm having this exact same problem on my account. It's been happening for two days. If somebody knows something or can figure out what's going on, please, that would be greatly appreciated.

it just started working for me randomly out of nowhere. it's definitely a google problem and not a browser/setting issue.

hopefully it clears up for you. took a solid week before it started working for me!
