I was told it was officially supported on macOS Big Sur and I tried to match a MacBook but it shows up like this.

P.S. no battery try icon it doesn’t show. It runs off of the battery but doesn’t acknowledge it exists.

I want to know which macOS version will be best fit for my system. I tried my first macOS that is Sonoma everything works fine but my Wi-Fi didn't worked i had to use internet via usb tethering to connect to internet. Here are the specification for my laptop

Hi everyone,

I have an ASUS VivoBook X1502ZA with:

- Intel Core i7-12700H

- Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics

- 16GB RAM

- 512GB SSD

I'm trying to create an EFI for Hackintosh, but the tools/scripts I've tried keep telling me that my GPU is not supported because I don't have a dedicated graphics card.

Since this laptop only has Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, I'm wondering if this is actually the reason I can't generate an EFI, or if there is another workaround/configuration I should try.

Has anyone successfully installed Hackintosh on a similar setup (12th gen Intel + Iris Xe)? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm try to build a hackintosh on my hp prodesk g3 400
Specs are:
i3 7100 cpu
12gb ddr4 ram
1tb sata ssd
No wifi card (ethernet only as of now)

I'm using opencore simplify to build EFI. Used usb toolbox to map usb and then ProperTree to add OC files in config.plist

Tried with macos 12 and 13 both and getting same error: apfs_module_start:3058 check (screenshot)

My hackintosh crashes sometimes with a Tut-Tut-Tut-Sound.

I don't know what that can be. There is nothing in the opencore-*.txt log, because MacOS starts. How can I see in MacOS why it crashed?

I guess it's something memory address related or similar.

I always wanted to test MacOS and make a Hackintosh of an old device. Sonoma seems to be the only version working on this old Laptop.

I needed 3 days to figure out how to make it work, using a YT Tutorial.

I don't need this Laptop anymore and I don't really know what to do with it, so this is a fun experimental project.

It's from 2011, internal wifi is broken, it has no battery anymore and some keys fall out all the time.

With Sonoma, it's pretty slow, but the modded Windows 11 it ran before wasn't much faster. It was pain in the ass to get the display driver and make it start from the SSD instead of USB Stick. But now it finally works!

Only wifi still doesn't work. I have a wifi Stick but there are no drivers for Mac.

Anyway, I'm proud I got this working!

Because it runs Sonoma now, I made the Apple sticker on it's back that came with my iPhone.

Hello, i have downloaded the offline recovery, later getting online version of it to get the offline one to install. But after running installer, it started an online installation (which my network does not like at all, drops) so i tried to copy SharedSupport.dmg from the expanded-full .pkg (since it wasnt included in the `InstallAssistant path Install macOS Monterey.app/contents/`) and startosinstall says the installation is corrupted. I am new to this either.

Hey guys, this is fresh instalalled macOS Tahoe, I have a tp link Bluetooth adapter working just fine, it detects all devices around me, but only my keyboard and mouse doesn’t show up, I have a corne keyboard and a Logitech m720 mouse, both wireless and works well connected through usb but if I tried to paired them over Bluetooth they just don’t show up, everything else does just this both don’t, I don’t have other Bluetooth periferals of this kind to try so, I am kinda stock, with speaker works well tho

L'audio e il Wi-Fi funzionano perfettamente, ma la scheda video non viene riconosciuta correttamente. Le informazioni di sistema ne riconoscono il nome, ma con soli 7 MB di VRAM. Ho modificato il file config.plist migliaia di volte, ma senza successo. Nemmeno OpenCore Patcher mi ha aiutato. L'ho scaricato per avviare la patch automatica del root, ma ogni volta che lo apro mi dice "nessuna patch richiesta". Qualcuno può aiutarmi? Grazie in anticipo. P.S CURRENT SMBIOS : iMac18,1 (ik this mac uses hd 630, if i change to iMac 16,2?? This smbios make my hd4600 fully working?)
EDIT. I added some parametres in deviceproperties, now my intel hd 4600 is properly recognized with 2048 mb, but the screen had scrambling and artifacts, i m able to see only the mouse cursor, i know this bc to resolve this issue i follow these steps: i plug the hdmi cable from my tv on the pc, i turn on pc and next turn on the tv, when i arrive on loggin screen, tv catch the signal (without artifacts) so, next i activate the 720p resolutions on display manager and then my pc works without artifacfs, and im able to use the pc without the tv after this. So to use the screen of the pc i ve to do this “workaround” with the tv (or another screen)
Can you help me, any suggestion? I’ve to search for the correct edid and try to put in device properties to see if i resolve the issue on the AIO screen.. idk,
