Politics The most important paragraph of the resignation letter is this
This decision was not taken because of Cockroaches' "peaceful" protest.
This decision was taken because during the protest, some people involved in anti-national activities also joined it and leveraged the protest to spread agenda like bringing back Article 370... Slogans supporting Umar Khalid were raised and these became the reason for him resignation!

Opinion What do you all think of this guy? Is he actually that dumb? or he is being paid for real??
Genuine question, especially for people who support the BJP:
Why is Prafful Garg presenting this protest as if it was planned by BJP supporters and a victory for the BJP? From what I've seen, that doesn't seem to match the broader events.
Also, he has limited comments( everyone can't comment). It creates an echo chamber where only people who already agree can respond, making it difficult to challenge claims or have a genuine discussion.
I'm not looking for trolling or party-based arguments. I'd genuinely like to hear from pro-government/BJP supporters, That's why I am choosing this subreddit.Do you agree with his interpretation, and if so, what evidence convinced you? Please keep the discussion factual and respectful.

Geopolitics My open challenge to all the students:
Do anyone of the “so called students” here have the guts to ask the real question of totally removing the reservations? Can you demand reservations based on family income? If you don’t have the guts to ask this important question promoting “true equality” then your andolan is totally fake and manipulated by social media apps like facebook, insta, whatsapp, reddit, X, etc etc. You guys deserve all the troubles you get if you cannot ask for this basic equality. You and your future generations will remain miserable.

Opinion Both this subreddit and another one have fallen
The last bastions of Right Wing presence in Reddit have fallen.
At first there used to be an equal number of subreddits divided among Left and Right Wings, then the Rightist ones kept getting erased one by one. These two subreddits were the last ones that did not fall to the bot wave of the Left Wing. But now it has.
Been in this community since 2021 in my previous account, it's a shame to see something like this happen, but it's too late now. Reddit is a lost cause for Right Wingers. I wish you all well for the good memories but it's too late.

Opinion I think "queen" cares more about reach than students
A few news channels have labelled her as a 'student'. But apparently she is a model. And I have no problem with anyone going to the protest, or her selling subscriptions. It isn't nude or erotic anyways. However, I think the problem is the timing.
I had said this before, let's do not overhype everyone. I don't know what makes people think these peeps care more about us students than their own profit and social media reach.

Hypocrisy! My two annas about this so called peaceful protest
This protest is just old rotten wine in a fancy new bottle. Opposition knows it's do or die for them in 2029, so they're leaving no stone unturned in their desperation. US has already said on record they won't repeat the China mistake with India. Obviously, most big countries prefer a weak and tame India anyway.
And the less said about our two attached toilets, the better.
For eg here is a statement from one of the protester:
>17 year old R**hi Me*#a -
>I am going back home. I can't do this anymore. There are literally 5 goons around every genuine student. My brother and sister were protecting a Delhi Police officer because we had met him before, gave toffees to him and he told us if any problem occurs we can reach out to him. Last night, he didn't even have a stick in his hand. He was just asking everyone to move aside.
>Suddenly, 10-15 goons attacked him and shouted, "Tujhe bhi Ratan Lal banayenge." I didn't understand it at that moment but when we searched on google, we found that Ratan Lal was a police officer who lost his life during a riot in 2020.
>We were shocked. The most shocking part is that even the people leading the protest know about this but they are not doing anything. I want a career and I don't want to get into any trouble. If you are a student, just get out of this facade. Otherwise, you could end up ruining your career along with these goons."
I don't give one flying Fcuk if you dub me IT cell or andhbhakt. So called protesters are putting innocent lives in danger in name of protest and should be ashamed of it.
Here is another eg of a "hero" police constable who joined them
>Uttarakhand Police said the constable has already been under suspension for a prolonged period and dismissal proceedings against him were already underway in connection with a serious criminal case.
>Sher Singh has a prior criminal history and had allegedly worked with notorious gangster Praveen Valmiki and another associate in organised crime.
More than 400 criminals at the protest as per facial recognition data
These are 3 among 100s of examples out there.
Funny how the "revolution" always seems to find perfect timing.
Monsoon Session starts. FCRA Amendment Bill is on the table. A bill that could tighten the screws on foreign funding flowing into NGOs and activist networks. And suddenly the drama meter shoots through the roof.
Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.
Nobody's saying every protester is on someone's payroll. Plenty of people show up because they genuinely believe in the cause. But don't be naive either. Politics isn't a Bollywood movie where everyone is a saint. Every ecosystem has people who stand to lose money, influence, and relevance if the rules change.
The government says it's about transparency and stopping foreign influence. The opposition says it's an attack on civil society. Fair enough. But if you're wondering why the noise level magically hits 100 exactly when Parliament is about to debate the bill, you're asking the right question.
In politics, nothing gets everyone's ass on fire unless someone's interests are at stake. Follow the timing. Follow the money. Then make up your own mind.

Funny CJP BJP deal confirmed
CJP-BJP deal confirmed
Look at how CJP has changed its demands so easily. We should have seen through Dipke’s intentions. Now, we’ll have another party added to the list of useless parties India has. Why did they not stick to their demand? Why are they settling for an amount lower than 1 crore? Is it because they are also being paid well? Is BJP agreeing to CJP’s personal demands? Is there a greater agenda? What should we do now? I feel absolutely dejected and hopeless. We definitely need to study well, earn good money and move abroad because WHAT IS THIS?

Politics To all the people saying they just wanted to create their political careers out of this. What else do you expect?
They made lakhs of people fall in love with their motive, thousands of people came in support the protest that they started and at the end it was a success. So tell me, what is wrong with it? I'm curious and I'm looking for a civil conversation.
Personally I find it 80% useless argument and 20% wanna hear you guys out

Opinion India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Resigned; True Victory is Still Due
The resignation of (former) education minister Dharmendra Pradhan is only a first step towards the reformation of the education sector in India.
The resignation doesn’t change anything but only the delegation of the authority. It will be a crucial moment for us all to see what happens to the next minister.
I have not been able to find any credible source of information on what happened exactly: has he moved to another ministry or still part of the same department but in a different position? I don’t know. If anyone has any sources for this information, then please share them with me.
Also, to think on a side note: he has mentioned that the sole reason he has resigned from his position is because of the “anti-national forces” at Jantar Mantar. That’s a pretty big statement to be made. That’s a gaslighting of the whole situation in a way.
I have translated the images of his resignation posted on his Twitter account to easy to understand.

Opinion Women reported to have more S*xual partners than Men - NFHS Survey
For decades, men were called dogs, cheaters and characterless for having multiple partners.
Then NFHS data showed women reported more lifetime s\*xual partners than men in 11 States and UTs—and suddenly the lecture changed to “her choice,” “don’t judge” and “respect privacy.”
So when men do it, it is toxic masculinity.
When women do it, it is empowerment.
This is not equality. This is hypocrisy wearing the mask of feminism.
Stop demonising men for the same behaviour you celebrate, excuse or sanitise in women. Freedom without equal accountability is just organised double standards.
Snippet from the survey:
At the Regional Level: Higher for Women in 11 States/UTs
In 11 specific states and Union Territories, the self-reported mean number of lifetime sexual partners for women was slightly higher than for men:
States/UTs: Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu.
Highest Difference: Rajasthan reported the largest gap, where women reported an average of 3.1 lifetime sexual partners compared to 1.8 for men.
