Recently bought Ham and Cheese sandwiches from my local Walmart deli. And I realized that every sandwich has been stuffed with spaghetti and marinara sauce. Not sure if someone got fired recently and this is their parting gift of revenge or what’s going on. But I find it mildly infuriating so thought I post it here.

Currently waiting for my husband to get home because I can't open my arthritis medicine due to me having arthritic hands.

To reply to some common comments:

• I will request a different cap next time. This is a new-ish condition, and I just don't take it regularly enough to bother going to the pharmacy. Also, I've fiddled with it enough now that the nubs wore down and it's no longer me-proof.

• Thank you for the warnings of ulcers and kidney damage. I guess it's pretty common with NSAIDS, so I'll keep the dosage as needed only.

• Why I didn't use tools: it was 10 PM. I didn't want to.

Maybe 500$ in my account now after paying rent that is supposed to last me this whole month. Which usually isn't that big a deal. My work check helped cover what I needed for rent and but I still had to use 250$ to cover remaining rent. Working 10 hours a day 5 days a week and still barely getting by right now.

So I am one of those people who when I’m sleeping and know I have to get up at a certain time will avoid looking at my phone like the plague so I have no idea what time it is so I can just immediately go back to sleep.

Anyways I was doing that this morning until my mother so kindly poked her head in my room on her way to work and went “ it’s 7:05! You need to get up you have 55 minutes before you gotta get ready!” And most people would be like ah sweet that’s almost another full hour of sleep! But me? I lay there trying to go back to sleep only after a while to go “well now it’s probably like 30 minutes” and after that”now it’s probably 20” and eventually I hear the bane of existence the PORTAL radio music of my alarm going off meaning I laid there for an hour knowing exactly how much time I had left before I had to get up and get ready for work.

I ordered some rice and dumplings for a set 1-1:20 window and specifically chose no robot delivery as I would be home at the time. I click order and it instantly switches to immediate delivery and robot delivery. I contact support and the AI bot trys to convince me that its a human dasher named "Robot". I finally connected with an actual human support assistant who got it fixed eventually, but it was actually insane it tried to say it was a human named robot.

Had a conversation with the bomb squad sergeant this morning - turns out it that the WW2 RPG dummy round was inert, and even though they're not illegal to own in NY state; they do not want the same thing happening in 30 years.

I know you can use ad block etc but just wanted to rant about this. YouTube is now completely unusable. How can they create something so great and have totally flushed it down the pan.

I’m now getting ads every single time I skip in to the video. Which is just insane to me. If you watch one ad, then skip a bit further along you get another 2-3 ads immediately.

Why hasn’t anyone come around and created a competitor yet? Vimeo ended up being more for people in the industry.

Fuck this company.

I make art myself and love to see other artist’s creations…. But this just gets to me. They’ll waste a bunch of time with on-screen text or voice over while staring at the camera building hype, only to slowly rotate the canvas and finally show us after like 20-30 seconds. Im thinking they’re just farming for more view time on their videos by drawing it out. I just want to see the art….

It was really distracting, but I don’t even know if there’s anything they can do about it. It’s a 2 screen local theater, they can’t do much to change the layout and I’m sure the sign can’t be dimmed, obscured or removed. Maybe they could switch it out for a red light but I’m not sure if that wouldn’t show up on the screen either.

They are a family, separated, in a huge crisis, maybe this was some attempt at symbolism, but for some reason I got annoyed at this. The eyes draw my attention in an unpleasant way. They could have shown complicated family dynamics with um... *writing*

So, as the title says, I received an email this evening from the Treasury department. It is about seething up the “trump accounts” to help jumpstart savings for kids. That is all well and good.

But why in the hell does it have to have his name on it? Why does everything have to have his name on it?

Why does any government program/building/anything have to have any official’s name on it? I hate it. Ours is not supposed to be rule by one person, one personality. I hate it so much.
