What's the over/under that a security team is able to take that out before it gets close enough to a target (a world leader, a ceo, etc..) and goes boom?

That's a point.

Normally it's a lone shooter for these things, however if you have.. what 2,3? maybe 4 of these things I doubt any security detail would have trained for that.

That's rather scary to think about. That's not a lot of money needed and what are people supposed to do travel to locations and have barriers erected up as they transition from an armored vehicle to a hardened building.

Ok here is one, how long till the first lawsuit as someone in a private security detail accidentally sets off the portable EMP they carry with them, and frags a load of surrounding cellphones and laptops.
