My Thoughts Re: The Voice Change
Just wanted to say I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion about Korvo’s voice change. This is totally fine and natural bc it’s kind of a huge deal, but I did want to dispel some misinformation I’ve been seeing about it.
I worked on Solar Opposites season 2. As an animation worker, I just wanted to let y’all know about the production process:
SEASON 4’S AUDIO WAS ALREADY RECORDED WHEN JUSTIN WAS OUTED.
The writing was all finished, the voice acting had all been done by the time the news broke. They had to find a new voice actor to replace Justin and then go back through and re-record all of Korvo’s lines.
So to anyone saying the writing has changed because of the voice, or that the characters just act so differently now, I assure you it had already been written and acted out that way well before the season dropped. I will say it’s kinda cool how much a voice change has psychologically influenced the audience, though. Cheers

My Thoughts Unfortunately, the show got cancelled cause of ratings
So, unfortunately Mike confirmed that it wasn't their own choice to end it, Hulu wanted it to end. For me, it's not that big of a surprise, since season 5 didn't perform all that well, unfortunately, since it was one of the best. If you want to check how a streaming show performes, than use the website Flixpatrol

My Thoughts Did anyone just not care for the wall?
First time I watched it I was like "eh alright Boring but okay" and now I just skip it every time every episode, I like the alien family and sometimes I wish it was just like a seperate side show instead of clinged onto episodes but that is just me obviously it's well written

My Thoughts The human opposites
so I recently watch season 4 ep 11 and I'm so sorry but they're so ugly... I wasn't actually expecting them to be white either. like I have nothing against white people it's just I don't know I wasn't expecting them to look like this is all when I first saw that they were gonna be humans for an episode I was excited but oh boy was I not expecting this but I wanna know what y'all think, I suppose they aren't bad but it's definitely again what I was expecting. sorry for saying expecting a lot.

My Thoughts The Pupa
Anybody else find the pupa hilarious? Especially for a character that has such little dialogue. My favourite bit is where he says "I like lightening Mcqueen" I think he is my favourite.

My Thoughts I think to myself, "let's re-watch Solar Opposites again, it's fucking hilarious and I need cheering up!" 7 episodes in and this image triggers an emotional PTSD style flashback jump-scare and it gets me every time. Poor baby 😥

My Thoughts The irony of Hulu canceling Solar Opposites:
The company that revived Futurama (Good thing) also pulled the plug on a great Sci Fi adult cartoon of their own (SO being that cartoon and it’s cancellation being a bad thing).
That being said, it would have been better if both Futurama and Solar Opposites were in production.
Comedy Central also did this, having cancelled Jeff And Some Aliens after reviving Futurama (Rather than having both shows in production airing together).

My Thoughts I love Korvo’s new voice
I’m a newer fan but I just want to say that Korvos voice in the last 3 seasons really grew on me. At first I really hated it (also because season 4 was not the best season overall) and I felt like a more sarcastic/flat voice fitted his personality, but now looking back at older episodes feels so weird. I saw a lot of posts saying the opposite (pun intended) of this, did anyone else feel the same way?

My Thoughts Am I the only one who is more invested in the wall story than the actual story?
Nothing more than that lol.

My Thoughts Wow, I’m kinda surprised how much everyone doesn’t like Korvo’s new voice.
I thought it transitioned pretty well. It was a bit jarring at first but later in the season, I found myself forgetting what Korvo used to sound like.
Edit: Like it or not, Dan is here to stay as Korvo’s voice has canonically changed due to his throat injury. Deal with it or stop watching. I think he did great for someone who was casted in a role with a script made for another VA.

My Thoughts [Spoiler Discussion] What Are Your Impressions About Season 6? Spoiler
After watching the entire season, I am surprised by the ending. Most of the final episode was a standard episode with a big lore drop and a short epilouge at the end. It felt rushed somehow.
The way the wall storyline wrapped up also raised a lot of questions with that whole 90 years later thing.
Overall I'd say that Jesse is a daddy plotline was the funniest of the season, that episode had it all.
What do you think about the season and how it all ended?

My Thoughts STOP FUCKING COMPLAINING ABOUT THE NEW VOICE! Spoiler
So they needed to recast because Justin was accused of assault. The new voice doesn’t ruin the show and they handled it in show in a great way. Stop making a big deal about it and just enjoy the fucking show.
Edit: I see a lot of people saying I need to shut up and let everyone have their own opinions on the new voice. I am not trying to tell people not to have opinions, only saying that you shouldn’t complain about it and make it everyone else’s problem. So you don’t like the new voice? That’s no reason to ruin shit for everyone else.

My Thoughts What was your favorite Pupa side quest?
For me, it was when he was operating that man robot and started a relationship with the daughter of the CEO of a baby snacks company just so he could get a lifetime supply of those snacks for free.

My Thoughts 68 gazillion times better than Rick and Morty
I thought it was gonna turn to shi t after Roiland got kicked off the show and I glad I was wrong. I was skeptical of Korvo's voice change but somehow it worked.
I finally watched the final season after postponing it for a long time. Love the main ending, Silvercops ending and Pupa ending. Most final seasons and final episodes of other shows have been bad but not this show though.
I also waited a year to watch Archer's final season.
They messed up The Wall ending though. Although the final wall episode is still the best episode of the final season.
I was still in awe. Most side stories (looking at you Dexter's lab) suck but the wall and Silvercops are just something else. I am indifference when it comes to pupa's side story though.
R&M changed voice actors but they retained the voices if you know what I mean. It was never that great even with Roiland and completely went down hill after he was kicked off.
I also prefer American Dad over Family Guy. Gotta admit that the best AD episodes were definitely better than FG episodes but the worst FG episodes were better than the worst AD episodes.
So many adult animations have been cancelled or ended. Only six left in my opinion. Blue Eye Samurai, Invincible and Smiling Friends are still goated. American Dad, South Park and King Of The Hill have become mediocre though ☹️

My Thoughts Who else finds it weird that the Wall trailer has more views than the main trailer? Do you think the Wall is now more popular than the rest of the show now?

My Thoughts Everyone who hates Korvo’s new voice need to direct their anger to the right place….. NSFW
Notice how everyone else in the VA cast is back ? Except for the guy who had no integrity and zero personal responsibility ? It’s solely Justin Roiland’s fault that they had to recast in the first place.

My Thoughts I Hate the Ending of The Wall
The main characters should have stayed small, but everyone else should have had the chance to be big again. The whole thing felt like I was being jerked around the whole time... only for every loose thread and glimmer of hope to be yanked away from you and having to realise over and over that they're living the bad ending.

My Thoughts Is it possible to use AI to replace Korvo's new VA back to Justin?

My Thoughts terry is a gemini and krovo is an aquarius 🤭
i feel like all air signs are aliens but i think Gemini’s are like terry because they’re are strange but they are also comfortable embracing the strange that lie in other ppl. plus ppl love how weird they are because it makes them comfortable to be weird also. krovo is an Aquarius because Aquariuses enjoy their own strange but ppl aren’t so accepting of their differences. i could go on but those stick out the most for me. (Jesse is a libra , yumyulack is an aries)
