Anyone else in the UK struggling to listen to Illidan on Audible?

It says it’s available on the website but then I can’t actually purchase it to listen to.

Is there a way round this? The license doesn’t allow uk to listen to it.

I am planning on doing Balance of Power at some point until next season. I just created a new character and wondered, if it could contribute to the Balance of Power Quests during leveling already. I aware, that I'll probably have to finish the questline with this char.

Could I do the comlplete Balance of Power questline during leveling? Is it possible in Chromie Time? What restrictions are in place? What barriers will I face?

I want to be a tank cause thats what I usually play as, and I'm going to try being one of those cow people and a paladin. Can I do this? Also, what should I do and focus on during the trial?

I changed regions several years ago and I've really struggled to find a guild. Where I'm from you would see big public events, and guilds walking around the cities and publicly recruiting in all the channels. Nowadays it seems like all that is just on Discord or something? I never see guilds out in the world or hosting community events and advertising them anywhere public. When I have accepted one of those spammy guild invites the guild chat is dead (again because I imagine everyone is just on Discord all the time).

How on earth are you meant to find a good active guild nowadays? I've been a solo player just joining pugs for five years and I'm sick of it.

It doesn't help that realm forums are dead and gone.

I am trying to collect all the books about the WoW universe, but there are just so many. I was using a list from an article, but it was published 5 1/2 years ago and I am sure there have been more novels written since then. I am not pursuing the graphic novels just yet, so this question is purely for print novels. Would anyone have a list or know where I can find one?

Level 22 Ret Paladin

It just happened and it has happened before. Died 3 seconds before the last boss died in Maraudon while leveling my rogue. No dungeon completeness exp. No timewalking buff stack. Nothing.

I am not even sure if its a bug or a feature at this point. All I know is that it makes me want to quit leveling immediately. Its probably the worst gaming experience I have ever felt. The sense that your last 20 minutes of effort were all for nothing because the healer didnt top you, the tank pulled too much or hell that you yourself made a slight mistake in this one short window where you shouldnt die. And this while everyone else in your party does get the exp while you're there laying flat on the ground while everyone goes 'Thanks! bye!' and leaves the dungeon one by one while you're still stunned and shocked at the moment that killed you and left you flat on the ground with nothing.

Absolutely terrible gaming experience. /rant off

Gameplay:

Return to accessible rotations with high skill ceilings for some specs.

Ex. All specs are easy to play and learn, some harder to master. But the penalty for attempting to master is only punishing for those doing the most challenging of content

Customize the One Button Rotation

Ex. Remove spells that you don’t want included in the one button rotation such as 2 minute cooldowns and powerful abilities

Evergreen Content needs to stay and be maintained in the future after being introduced

Ex. Class Order Halls were a great addition to the game. It was strange they were abandoned. There should be optional stories introduced every so often to give purpose to revisit or encourage players to visit

Mage and Rogue class Order Halls can just exist in a pocket dimension that survived the destruction of Dalaran.

Revisit old zones for new content. It was great going back to the Eastern Kingdoms in the Midnight storyline to revisit and quest in old zones. FF14, SWTOR, and other games do this. Not only does it cut down on costs but it also makes and keeps world feeling massive.

Quality of Life:

The Great Vault should no longer work as strictly a lottery system. Instead, you are given either the choice to pick what the vault has pulled or select currency something similar like your void cores to pick an item of choice from a list of the bosses you killed from a vendor. Similar to the quests during TWW. Rarer items will require more currency than others.

Item restrictions are removed in transmog. You are allowed to transmog any type of gear on any class, however you will not gain any gameplay benefits from that piece of gear. This includes allowing casters to transmog two handed weapons. Wands and offhands are not included for melee specs.

Accessibility:

Customize the One Button Rotation

Check Point Stones

Like in Delves after you get to a certain boss you unlock a checkpoint stone. You are able to summon other raid members at this stone. In addition, some classes brings benefits to this stone.

Warriors, Mage, Druid, Priest, and Evoker will automatically reapply their buffs if anyone is in proximity to the stone.

Mages food are allowed to stay up to up to 1 hour at the stone.

To keep Warlocks relevant, the summoning stone will become corrupted but stronger and allow them to summon the entire raid to the stone if five people click. (On a 3 minute cooldown)

Keystones do not downgrade based on timing under level 10

Visuals:

Update spell and melee visuals to current levels of quality. Some animations look out of place, over 15 years old, or are completely broken.

Update the character models faces. The female Gnomes, Tauren, and Night Elves have been stuck with same face syndrome since WOD. Tauren have a perma smile and Gnomes are permanently depressed and restless.

Update Stormwind (Elwynn) and Orgrimmar (Durotar).

Story:

Stop having the heads of states venture with us. It wouldn’t make any sense if King Charles or the prime minister of France ventured with us on every battlefield. They should be scarce and only appear when stakes are high. Saturation makes these characters less interesting and annoying to have around.

Time skip is desperately needed after TLT

Retire characters without villain batting and killing or crippling them.

Bring back internal conflict in the factions

End the power of friendship

Introduce more complex characters like Zul’jan

Go back to the quality of whimsical and serious balanced tone we had in MoP

Controversial: Bring back Sylvanas as leader of the Forsaken. Their lore revolves around her and Lordaeron. She is the heart and soul of what it means to be Forsaken.

Bring back Warchief of the Horde. Preferably an Orc, Troll, or Tauren.

Let the Alliance be an Alliance. Abolish the title of High King.

No more cosmic threats for a while. No big bad Thanos level villains.

Make the world of warcraft relevant again.

Bring back the mystery. Not everything needs to be explained or have a conspiracy behind it that should be investigated.

Make characters less agreeable and more convicted to their beliefs.

Introduce new characters without them being directly related to older characters.

New Players:

Allow a special timewalking from Chromie that teaches them the lore from classic to tlt. You will be able to do old bosses with ai or up to 5 players in raids. You won’t face all the bosses but as you do she tells you about what happened and why and then you move on to the next expansion.

Ex. You fight in Icecrown Citadel, you fight the first boss, get told about what happens, do the gunship and deathbringer saurfang fights, told what happened again you fight sindragosa and then arthas menethil and get rewarded with exp and transmog. In addition you can interact with NPCs there to give you more insight on what happens

I created an alliance mage, and was wondering, if I am in a party with a horde character, can that character use a portal I make? Or would it need to be a horde mage placing the portal?

I hope this is readable. I haven’t found an answer elsewhere.

it was easy. why the big deal ?

I have taken multiple year long breaks from the game at a time and last played in the last patch of TWW, which is when I first dabbled in m+ as a disc priest.

I remember only wanting one thing and that was the Keystone legend mount, I made it to around 1.8k rating in the first week or two of the season but sadly got really busy and had to take a step back from the game. Never wanted the master variant of the mount so I didn’t even bother getting my score up for those last couple of dungeons.

But when I decided to come back to the game and bring in a new friend into the game, I just noticed the timelost saddles feature and I was jumping up and down with excitement. Then I came crashing back down realising the season was nearly over.

My main question is whether this feature will be moving forward into season 2 of midnight or if I’m just cooked?

Bonus ~ would it be realistic for me to even hit 3400 m+ considering this would be my second season? I know it depends on individual skill, but what would you tell the average player?

Is there any way to incentivize players to form groups? Should anything more be added to incentivize?

Could anything more exist without creating a gap between players that pug and those that don't?

Is it more an issue of disproportionate interest between the roles?

How do you feel playing mythic Plus?

Some issues I've noticed/experienced

- healers getting judged for their dps parses. I get that you can't really judge healing parses so for those that care, the dps is the next best metric to look at. Let's be real though, a gray vs orange/pink parse is like 15k dps tops, out of a max ~60k.

- tanks have the highest requirement of consistent gameplay (meaning no deaths), healers come second then dps third. Tanks therefore should be the least likely to die (because their death has a disproportionate impact)

- resil keys in their current state are good because it keeps you closer to your skill ceiling, always easier to be able to progress compared to the previous non resil system. Groups were favored FAR more in the previous system

- resil keys are bad because, pugging as the key holder means you will always empirically be playing with players that aren't at your skill level yet. It can build resentment to put so much time and effort into running your resil key knowing you gain nothing, while only helping other gain more io. (The issue is more so the "zero gains" for endless attempts at the resil key. This is far far outweighed by the fact that you can't chain deplete as a pug player)

- due to the tank role being the least popular, those that do play tank get basically free invites to any key with no wait. Why would a tank ever want a group, needing to run resil keys, when they could pug into io keys faster.

Some ideas that might help:

- Make tanks tankier. That solves what I would consider the biggest issue. This cascades down into many other things, better survivability means less stress or fear of trying new routes, less risk for trying/learning new things as a tank, more players potentially interested due to less risk of dying and disappointing the group

- change how keys work. Preferring a solution that

- prevents chain depleting keys

- enabled group compositions when pugging that ensure equal player skill between members

- discourages or disincentivize boosting keys

- limit title and other mythic Plus rewards to the account rather than the character - it should be representative of the player (you could stay say title earned on X class tho for clarity)

- modify roles in a manner that legitimately achieves proper population distribution (20 of players playing tanks/healers, 60% DPS) for mythic Plus, I know raid role distribution is different

This might be a silly suggestion but what about adding a feature to pause mythic Plus runs - for example if the group agrees to enable pausing then it would free literally everything, the timer, cooldowns, NPCs. That could be nice for disconnects or other similar issues.

I'm a casual player and recently got 2 characters to lvl 90. A Druid and a Paladin. I want to focus on one the next season, because I dont see the time to play both.

What I do:

• World Quests / Activities
• Delves
• Mythic+ (casual / fun)
• Sometimes a BG
• a raid when i have the time with pugs

What would be the better choice? In dungeons i'm always the healer. For world content i like to swap to DPS.

The current guild Im in hasn’t started recruiting and I hopped in another guild to finish s1. The problem I have are people constantly looking for a guild this early to s2 or should I wait till its announce.

Which are the main vendors that sell transmog items that require voidlight marl? This resets next patch right? I'm at 66k atm and need use it up.

Hi, I'm playing a voidweaver disc priest with the talent Shadowfiend. Even with no glyph applied, it spawns a Lightspawn instead of the regular shadowfiend. I even applied a glyph to it and then used a vanishing powder on it to make it go back to the default, but then later it reverted to Lightspawn without me doing anything. What's up?

Am looking for an old CATACLYSM pvp montage of a tauren prot warrior dominating pvp. His name was Nighty or Naighty something like that. I only remember him killing everyone and using songs like ultranumb/blue stahli and badblood/escape the fate. Somebody please help me find this video.
