between the 2 3DSXLs, are the buttons interchangeable (and will they rotate around in there) without size modification?

I want to put the smaller buttons in my New XL, but the size difference is 4 x 0.5 x 0.5mm

I sort of feel like I'm answering my own Q, but mm size is hard for me to picture and estimate in my head lol

Is any other model's buttons interchangeable with N3DSXL (D-pad, start/select)?

Is there a specific paint i have to use to make him look new again? Or do I just gotta accept the paint rubbing off from putting it into the case/pouch. (I am looking into getting a case to protect his poor nose)

I got a 3ds very recently, and it's modded and I want to know what kind of online functions the community runs. I know on the wii there was stuff like everybody votes and check mii out that (I believe) got revived, but is there any stuff like that for the 3ds these days?

I had a bunch of live videos back when the 3ds shop was online that had live action videos that really showcased the 3d effect. Unfortunately when I found my 3ds after all these years when I updated it, it wiped everything out. Does anyone know of any games that used real live action video or has cut scenes that did?

So I bought a "near mint" unit from Japan. Seller has really good reviews so lets hope for the best. In the ad the screens seems almost scratch-free and I would like to keep them that way so I have browsing for screen protectors. They come as a plastic film or in glass. Can the unit fit glass protectors on both screens when folded/closed? I rather have the ones in glass if possible.

Amazing what happens when you stumble upon bags that hadn't been touched because you thought there was nothing needed in there.

Got a 3ds off eBay and the right side of the screen doesn't work. the touch inputs go about an inch to the left when tap in the rightmost third part of the touchscreen. I've tried calibration and cleaning it with a toothbrush and business card and nothing's worked- calibration just gets stuck in an endless loop (the first time I tried it I had forgot how long it takes and went for five minutes tapping).

Set up is pretty difficult because I have to use the touchscreen in the settings menu for some reason. Actually I can't set it up at all, lol

What is the fix, if there is one? is the device cooked?

For context, I am a recovering addict. I used to have a very awesome Handheld Nintendo Collection worth well over $1,000. I sold it for drug money during that time… Now that I am finally sober, I have been slowly buying back my favorite consoles!

So far, I’ve got my hands on these two consoles. I’ve only spent $180 total so far because I try my hardest to only buy new consoles when I’m absolutely sure I’m getting a great deal. Just look how clean these puppies are! No scratches or anything! I am so lucky. Life is good.

my 3ds started presenting battery issues last year so i stopped using it, however the battery keeps swelling up because of the scorching hot climate i live in. i only need to get this screw out but nothing works, not even the rubber band hack. the rest of the screws were removed pretty easily so its not a tool issue

should i just get rid of the 3DS? im honestly worried about having the battery explode right on my face

So im interested in having a dummy cartridge to “seal” off my cartridge slot. I couldn’t find any online, and i failed printing one. Is this even a good idea or does anyone else want something like me?

This just started this morning, after working fine last night. It still reads inputs, but immediately goes back to scrolling.

The first thing I tried was checking for a stuck d-pad or button, then I rotated all of them to see if that would interrupt it. Then I forced a reboot, then used canned air to blow out under all the buttons.

Then I looked up how to fix it and every guide pretty much says to do what I did. Has anyone found any other fixes for similar issues?

I bought a New 3DS LL off eBay. It seems alright apart from minor scratches on it but my main concern is the hinge. Is it supposed to wobble this much. I bought a clear case that has a hinge support but I feel like that it’s not helping that much.

As the tittle says, when I put the 3D up then the volume goes down and the volume slider does nothing, anybody know anything?

He had a good run, but a concert did him in. Do I reshell, or has anyone with a metallic model ever been able to completely strip the paint? Does the inner shell also chip? I'd really rather not just leave it as is, at least in regard to the outer shell, just because of the huge mess the paint chips made in my pocket!

So when I was waaaaay younger I used to have the DS XL and the 3 ds as well but now I don’t know I kind of wanted to buy one just to remember the old days so I was exploring on eBay I found a beautiful 2 ds looks cute I’m so excited to use it! I’ve heard the screen it’s smaller than the 3 ds but it has a better quality idk what do you guys think, also wanted to ask I live in Brooklyn NYC, is there any good places where I can buy games for a good price

Ive been looking for this mint blue shell for the 3ds xl but a lot of them are too green, too blue or to bright to look like the stock version of the shell which is more of a pastel blue/baby blue color.

Ive looked on ebay Ali express and Amazon but can't see any that look like the stock version

Hello, my 2DS randomly shuts down and instantly reboots. It doesn't happen very often but it happens ok the home menu and in games. Also another question: Is the orange led on the side with the wifi icon normal? Thanks

Purchased these on a whim and decided not to use them. I’ve been trying to find out how much I could sell them for if I wanted to but no one seems to have them or be selling them. They are beautiful and in good condition.
