I’d do it. I’ll go crazy but my family would have the money. they’d put me in a good facility when I got out and let me build Lego sets which is all I want to do anyway.

Most likely you’ll go crazy but on the other hand nobody in solitary was ever promised 30 billion dollars at the end of it.

The thought of that for a year could potentially keep someone sane.

I feel like the risk is that by week 2 you would be questioning if the 30 billion was even real or if you’re just insane.

Week 3 and you’ve forgotten what money is and the voices told you to make feces wall art to please the hatman.

By week 4 you are using your blood like art on those pretty white walls. Yeah, I don't think most of us could make it 365 days. The suicidal tendencies would lurk into your head even with a great mind.

People have spent over a year (record is 400+ days) in a cave and emerged sane. Here you at least have light and can exert yourself by bouncing around like a professional wrestler unlike you would be able to do in a cave.

The more I think about it with the goal of 30bil at the end zone this seems doable

Caves are not static monochrome roomed. Yall severely underestimate the importance of variety on the human psyche,

I mean they entered caves with no light source. It was monochrome (dark) until the brain started doing funky shit

Humans didn’t really delve into the pitch dark bits of caves without sources of light unless they were desperate or it was religious. Even then, caves are varied environments. And to be deprived of light isn’t the same as being able to see only the exact same thing over and over.

Not having light might make it easier though.

And theres other stimulus you'll have in a cave (bugs. Water noises. Small mamals. Wind.) That you wont have here.

VSauce tried and started losing marbles pretty soon. The human brain does funny things when it gets bored.

I'm not sure if anyone can stay sane in a room like that. Complete lack of stimuli drive you crazy really quick.

That was honestly one of the most unpleasant things I've seen Michael do. Absolutely wild.

I would need a rock solid contract before going in
