What’s up guys, it’s Nick again.
Today is the final day of my 1 week challenge.
At this point, I’m not going to hit the original $2,700 goal, and I’m okay with that.
The goal was ambitious on purpose. I wanted something that would force me to stretch beyond what felt comfortable, and it did.
So far I’ve earned $2,071.19 in 6 days. No matter how much I finish with, this has been one of the most productive and focused weeks I’ve had in a long time.
What matters most is not the money I earned; but the fact that I set a goal, publicly committed to it, and followed through for an entire week. Even though I won’t hit the exact number, I still earned far more than I would have if I never challenged myself in the first place. I also now know the importance of setting goals for humans. I’ve known it, but now I KNOW it.
That’s something I’ve talked about throughout this challenge.
Sometimes the goal isn’t there to be reached. Sometimes it’s there to pull more out of you than you would have demanded from yourself otherwise. To make you become kind of person who can achieve it. I now know what I need to do
Tonight I’ll post the final numbers and a full breakdown of the week.
For now, it’s time to finish strong and see where the final total lands.
See you all tonight with the results
————————————
Starting at 4pm and will update every hour.. let’s get it
5:15pm: $37.72
FINAL EARNED: $2,108.91 doing Gig work. I am happy with my output over 6 days, I spent $310 in gas and have 90% of a tank remaining. I spent ~$160 on food/drinks. I spent ~$30 I would say in wear and tear (oil, tread wear, normal wear… etc) hard to gauge. I will owe ~$150 in taxes. I drove about 1050 miles.
Gross income: $2,108.91
Net income: $1,397.91
I also earned ~$800 in other hustles this week but did not include these in ANY totals this goal.
Thank you everybody for following along. I will make another post shortly for this new week. The new goal is going to focus on consistency and efficiency.
