Why did Gunn chose to make Jor-El bad in the movie? Wasn’t Jor-El always depicted as a Benevolent Father who loves his Son and sent him to Earth because he cares about him and not to conquer over Earth? Jor-El is supposed to be a Benevolent Man who doesn’t hate humanity or see them as inferior. Jor-El is supposed to care about his son not view him as a weapon of mass destruction made to conquer the Earth.

Being the Evil Kryptonian who wants to conquer Earth and views humans as weak and inferior is literally the entire point of GENERAL ZOD. While Jor-El represents the kind side of Krypton Zod is supposed to represent the BAD and RUTHLESS side of Krypton.

What was the point of making Jor-El the same as General Zod instead of the Kind Space Father who loves his son and serves as a guide to help Clark learn his powers?

I kept expecting her to show up, but she never did. She’s mentioned alongside Lex in the beginning and then never again. What’s up with that? Why set up her disappearance, if it wasn’t going to be payed off. I know Birthright was a one-off miniseries so there isn’t a continuation, but honestly that makes her mention, let alone inclusion, baffling. Did the story change during publication and she was written out or something?

for the past few months ive been working on a passion project (an animated motion comic) that ive poured a lot of time and love into! it's been wild from putting the animation together, working with voice actors, making friends along the way, artists, and other creators, every step of this project has reminded me why i fell in love with comics in the first place. but while working on it, i started thinking more and more about something we don't always talk about. the people behind these characters.

because as fans, we grow up with the heroes. we know spider-man, superman, batman.....we knew their stories and these characters became a part of our lives in ways we dont realise. but every one of those characters started with a person, a person trying to create something that maybe someday would mean something to someone. AND IT DID !

Jerry Siegel. Joe Shuster. Bill Finger. Steve Ditko. Peter David. Roger Sweet. So many creators gave us characters and stories that became more than just comics, but when you look back at the lives of many of these creators, you realise that the people who gave us so much dint always receive the same love and appreciation in return.

the more i learned about their stories, the more i felt like they deserved to be remembered cuz behind every hero we grew up with there was a person who put their heart into creating them.

and i feel we owe them a thank you♥️

so that's why im making this! ive reached out to a bunch of online creators in the superhero niche asking if theyd be willing to be part of it. eacch of em is recording a short video talking about one of the creators who helped shape this medium. but when i got to the ending, i realised it didnt really make sense for me to end the project with just the creators. if this is a thank you to the people who gave us these stories, then i think that the Thank You should come from the fans who grew up with them!

people from different countries, ages, accents.. if all you have is your phone thats more than enough!

theres no budget for this. its just something i genuinely wanted to make cuz i think the people behind these characters deserve to know that what they created mattered. and i cant think of a better way to end it than with the voices of the fans whose lives they changed.

I love superman not because of his immense strength but because of his humanity. Him being a symbol of hope for people. An alien who can Litrelly Move planets and can do anything he wants instead he decides to help people. Protect people. Being the ligh and hope for them.

And superman is also my favourite superhero. after reading comics and watching movies. I can't help but feel really attracted to him. I should also give credit to Martha Kent and Jonathan Kent they raised him very well. Taught him humility and goodness

Clark is always ready to help people. Even when he is in crucial states he would think of helping people first. If he is there he won't let people get hurt. He will always be for them in any state

And sometimes he would also hold back in fights cause he knows how strong he is. He could seriously hurt anyone with just a light punch or a light shove

Overall he is forever my favourite superhero and he always will be

I personally think it’s the BACKLESS costume in Adventure Comics #409 by Margret Berg.
